TOI: Jagya gets inked

Actor Shashank Vyas aka Jagya from 'Balika Vadhu' has got himself tattooed. It's not some random design but his mother's name that he's got inked on his back.

He says, "I have been wanting to get a tattoo for a very long time. But I wasn't too sure, given my profession, where I end up playing different characters. A tattoo could have been a probable hindrance. But after a lot of mulling, I decided to get it done. Also, I got it done on the back of my neck because it's personal. I don't want to show it off. It's not fashion for me.

" Why his mother's name? "My mother is no more, and we were like friends. I used to discuss everything with her. This is purely a dedication to her. The tattoo makes me feel that she is watching over me all the time." He says it will be his first and last tattoo!
