KESAR Update for- Wednesday (08-17-05)

1. As Rudra cuts the cake, he keeps thinking of Abhi's name written on it and is extremely hurt. He feeds the cake to Pam first then to Dadi but she tells him to feed Kesar first. As Rudra feed her, he thanks her for the great surprise. Kesar senses the hurt look on his face and feels bad. When she feeds Rudra the cake, she puts it on his face. She laughs along with everyone else but tells her that she will have to wipe it by kissing him. Everyone smiles but Kesar tells him that she can't do it in front of everyone. Rudra tells her that it is his birthday request. She kisses him and then goes to her room. Rudra tells himself that he would forgive Kesar but not Abhi.

2. Kesar is crying in her room. Rudra is surprised to see her in tears when he comes in. She tells him that she didn't know how Abhi's name got written on the cake. She also tells him how Abhi had come to meet her there. She says sorry for breaking her promise. He tells her that he was hurt when he saw Abhi's name on the cake. Kesar thanks him for not showing how he was feeling on his face and for saving her from everyone's questions. He tells her that he trusts her and then she hugs him.

3. Abhi is looking through all of his files at home. He asks Amma whether she knows where his insurance file is. She gives it to him but he tells her to keep it with her. She then asks him to settle down but he refuses. She tells him that she would ask Kesar to convince him. Abhi tells himself that eh can't commit himself to anyone anymore.

4. In Bangkok, Harman gives Neha a bracelet and tells her that he doesn't love Neha but her and that he had told Neha on their second meeting that it was just an infatuation Riya asks him to marry Neha, as she loves him but he tells her that he wants to marry her only but if she doesn't marry him, he wouldn't ket her marry anyone else. He tells her that he knows that she loves him too. Riya tells him that she does and he hugs her.

5. Kesar tells everyone that they should talk to Harman about his and Neha's marriage. They all agree.

6. Rudra meets Abhi and tells him not to meet Kesar again, as he always comes up with stupid excuses to meet her. Abhi tells him that he doesn't need to make excuses to meet Kesar. Rudra tells him that if he is indeed Kesar's good friend, he would stay as far as possible from her because if he meets her again, he would take Kesar out of his life.

7. When Riya returns from Bangkok, Neha tells her (in front of Kesar) that everyone has decided to talk to Harman about their marriage. Neha is not happy about it. Kesar sees the bracelet in Riya's wrist and asks her about it. Riya tells her that it's a gift from someone.

8. The Mallyas are in Harman's house. Harman tells Vikram that he wants to marry his daughter. Soumya tells him that they came to talk about this, too. Kesar tells Neha to take everyone's blessings together with Harman but Harman tells them that he wants to marry Riya, not Neha. Everyone is shocked.
