Aayu's Silent Cry
On the island, in the Arabian sea,
Westward of the Vindhya's brow,
That is where we came to be
Mumma, papa, PayPal, Ansh and me.
Sunny sands and frolicking waves
Fill the land that I can see
Until, Ishita chaachi abducted me again
Tell me, what will become of me?
Back at home, I hope my mumma cries for me
And that my father battles Ishita chaachi to get me back
Tell me, does an abducted infant like me
Ever succeed in being loved and at being brave?
You see, I am just a premie baby
And, someone came and picked me up
Now my mumma sees me naught for what I may be
And set me up to fill Pari chaachi's barren cup.
In God's bountiful garden, let me be
Loved by the stars, the wind, the sky
The soulful whisperings of the waves and the tree
By God's grace and blessings I'll love my own life, by and by.
