I watched tonight's episode with a sigh of regret over the damage Guman has managed to cause in a few hours' time. Saras and Kumud both defensive about their fathers' and avoiding each other's company after just a day of taking joy in it. But that sigh was overcome with relief by the grace and wisdom that are Dugba. She and Guniyal talked down a furious Vidyachatur and Dugba later visited the kind of Dubai to talk sense into him too. Leave it to her to calm ruffled feathers.
The scene where Guman just threw fruit on the ground was just pathetic. Trying to throw her triumph in Dugba's noble-born face through a couple of grapes was so ridiculous I don't even have words. I can't believe this woman has a son at all, let alone a Harvard student. He obviously doesn't take after his mother apart from his spending habits. As for her assuming that Laxminandan and Saras will never return to Ratnagiri after this, well never is a long time my dear. 😆😆 We all know that there is no such thing in the television world.
It takes some cleverness to create a rift in relationships where there were none before. But it takes dignity, compassion, and intelligence to repair those rifts, and Dugba showed she has all that and more.
I noticed Sunny was nowhere to be found in the last two days, was he in his room or what? 😕 He would have been a good sounding board for a mad Saras.
