I think she will say in the darkness she saw someone going to attack Zoya so tried to stop them and ended up getting hurt in the process. Or that she saw the same stone eyed lady from the picture and tried to stop her.

I think she will say she saw a thief lurking there..so she got a knife from kitchen but that person who was going to attack Zoya pushed her so she fell on some pots and cut herself with the knife..and she becomes the saviour..
