maybe, but the story also needs to move, hotdogg, something more is needed

...and I am sure it will but not before next week..

these are times when quick wins are required on trps...so i am assuming the story is filed away for later...

Let me explain what I meant through an analogy... when a howitzer / cannon fires shells, the team fires a few dozen shells and adjusts the elevation in order to settle at the right elevation which covers the range and hits the target...

similarly expect a few range finding epis...look how much they have moved away so quick from the previous track...and they have identified that samud love track is working...so they will provide variations on this a bit to get the right mix i think...

coz they need to find the band of movement within the love track which is now the trp baseline anchor and bring in the story from there onwards...

within the love track ...we have already seen love in

(i) the cute version (water on sheets, midnight meet),

(ii) persistent version (aggro asking for date),

(iii) miffed version & make up (yesterday)

...now the next step will be the

(iv) going to bash each other up version requiring more makeup...from the spoliers it looks like the makeup here will involve a jealous kumud...new person juhi entry...

so expect the love track to continue this week...which I dont mind at all...

By end of this week they will know how the trps are faring...

hopefully within this love track the story will be moved forward in that guman's trump card ...creating fight between VC & LN will be blunted / eliminated...and we have the new person juhi entry...

..interesting point of departure in next week will be whether they use (iv) to cement the samud love or to break it up...

(A) if trps are up they will continue maybe pushing it more, but keeping the underlying bond intact...meaning more juhi/saras/kumud triangle and extended wedding...

(B) if no effect, then what do they have to lose anyway...so move on to the next track...

I am kinda betting on A...

Arshi, sometimes watching the episode after reading the written update loses its charm, especially the next day but if the post is anything like yours, it compels you to get lost in it! ❤️

I've always loved the pairing of meek and innocent Saras(haha, this impression is not going to last long) with the vivacious and proud Kumud but today, they were the literal embodiment of Fire and Ice. The way Saras attempted to cool off the fiery Kumud was indeed on of the most epic romantic moments I've seen on the small screen!

Side note: I really want to give Chulbul pandey a second chance. Maybe he is trying to get closer to the mystery of the missing father in a way. I know its wishful thinking but Ill stick to it. Although, if Kumari really is in trouble, Sunny or even Saras coming to her rescue would be an equally acceptable scenario for me!

Thanks makes a lot of sense. I am kind of getting restless with romance, and want the story to move forward

But yes, as you explained, TRPs are critical to the long term survival of the show, so a few episodes invested in TRP gathering will be required.

I am enjoying the romance, but SC is about a lot more than that and I feel this single focus on romance takes away from the real story.

Anyway, another week lets enjoy the lighthearted romantic track, after that hopefully the story will move forward

True Humeshaa, fire and ice, indeed they are, but kabhi yeh fire to kabhi woh fire, yesterday specially, it started with her as aag, and him as ice trying to cool her down,

Then dikra was on fire, and then of course it was all fire and no ice!

I have no hopes from chulbul, shakal se hi lafanga, but yes, I have always felt Kumari is like a baby sis to Saras, and saras coming to her rescue would be really nice to see, aur Sunny Kumud ka sangam hoga ke nahi, woh to gayab ho gayee.
