I always thought that Asad and Zoya would do well in the world of crime. 😆 Hence the post... Okay, I'll continue...

Because some people wanted to read it... I'm back with another part. It'll be short, mind you! 😉 So just wait and watch.

Her eyes widened as she stared in horror at him.

What have you done, Asad? You killed me?

As if Asad could hear her thoughts he lurched forward and grasped her in his hands. He held onto her, his gun pressed to her back and he tried his best to tell her that it wasn't him.

"No, Zoya... It wasn't me! I swear!" Her breathing was softer, calmer and it scared him to no bounds.

"What's wrong Asad?" He heard the devious voice say, amusement lacing every fiber of its existence. "You were going to shoot her, right? I just made it easier for you, didn't I?" The voice paused, taunting him.

"No?" it voiced, as if in shock. Asad's bloodshot eyes narrowed as he stared into the darkness that surrounded them. "Oops." the voice let out a chuckle.

Rage, agony, horror raced inside Asad's veins. He couldn't understand what was going on, but he did know that he had to do something fast or he wouldn't be able to save her.

"Zoya," he whispered to himself. "I'll save you," his voice grew louder now.

A scoff resounded from behind him.

Asad snapped out of his haze and let Zoya's body slide to the floor. He turned around, frenzied with the idea of staining his hands with the blood of his captor. His eyes glowed like a maniac as they roamed in the darkness, searching for the sillhouette of another being.

It was then he saw it. The shadow moved with the sounds of the laughter that filled the room. He raised the gun and shot at it furiously one after another.

Six shots were heard, followed by the painful gasp of their captor.

Asad's body moved forward without his consent. He knelt beside the- now dead- body of the person who'd forced a wedge between his love and him. His eyes widened as he took in the reality.

Ayaan.

I killed him... I killed her... I killed the two people I love most in the world...

A bloodcurdling scream slipped through his lips as he dug his nails into his fists and pounded it on the ground.

I'm all alone. ALL ALONE!
