Why a chawl, for goodness' sake??

I can't believe it! Anupam actually took them to a chawl??? Is that his/ Kapoor clan's magnanimity??

The least that awful family could have done was to provide them with a car. When anupam offered them a place to stay, I truly thought Shiv was behind this. But even Shiv wouldn't insult them by sending them to a chawl.

My God, this is rubbing salt into their wounds....but not a squeak of protest from the Chatterjee family..well, except for that annoying daughter-in-law.

if they stay in a good house or the house of devika ji then Nikhila will not be able to come and tell them about the wealth and power they have to them. lot of dramas happen in chawls 😆 😆

exactly my sentiments...after all he is a rich guy......why culdnt he take the family to his house!!! or atleast he would have had a guest house or something!!!

Maybe cuz he knows wat a self-respecting guy Alok...but I found it weird how Alok turned down his MIL but was willing to listen to Anupam, basically part of Shiv's family...

I was thinking about this too...I mean Anupam is rich...so why the chawl...I think it is very illogical and unreasonable...it makes no sense what so ever...

I mean then why let anupam offer them a place of stay if the creative team had thought staying in a chawl will be a better idea, it will reflect the difference between poor & rich. I mean a rich guy taking them to a chawl beats me.

On top of that Anupam says 'mana mat ki jiyega'! Poor alok! 😆 😆 😆
