Sonam Kapoor excited about attending Cannes film festival

Sonam will next be seen in Anand L Rai's Raanjhanaa, which also stars Southern star Dhanush and Abhay Deol.

Actress Sonam Kapoor is excited about walking on the red carpet at the 66th edition of Cannes International Film Festival this year and has already left for the venue.

The 27-year-old will be at Cannes as brand ambassador of beauty brand L'Oreal Paris which completes 16 years as the official make-up artist for the film fest.

"On my way to the Cannes Film Festival. Really excited to walk the red carpet," Sonam tweeted.

The film festival will begin on May 15 and conclude on May 26. Other Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will also be present there.

I wanna see what Sonam has planned this year! Last year was somewhat of a disappointment, but she OWNED her first year.

She is excited for modeling, dressing up, wearing dior, gucci etc. but not excited for her movies.

When she is not serious about her film career then how can she expect the audience to take her seriously.

why do people bring old quotes and assume Sonam isnt excited about her films to all of her topics! if Cannes is this week she's going to talk about Cannes... simple!
