Monaa looked here and there, up and down, hoping that Lion roars from the Khan Mansion so that she can go running and she can be saved from answering Raabert's question. What answer can Zoe give to Ayaan about her feelings for Asad when she herself has not faced the question and neither has Asad.
But Raabert's question was very valid and for a second, it seemed he was trying to read or almost caught Lion Ki Monaa but the tailor just pushed the puzzle forward. And Raabert answered the question himself - Nahiin, nahiin. 24 ghante toh ladhti rehtee hai Bhaaijaan se. Koi pyaar vyaar nahiin kartee unnse. I am sure Nikaah ke din bhaagne ka plan ready kar rakhaa hogaa.
This was a touch and go for Ayaan in just testing waters of AsYa's relationship. For now, the facade behind which AsYa hide is the truth for Ayaan - they are misfits for each-other , my brother's never gonna love a trouble route like you, you guys don't love each-other... OR... do you?
Its both a good thing and a bad thing , depending on how it plays out or how fast Raabert deciphers the Lion-Monaa saga. If he realizes in time that Monaa really loves Lion, he will be a catalyst. If he realizes it too late ( after having fallen in love with her ) he will turn into an examination for Lion and Monaa.
I think Vikrant is getting his own charm, nuances and mannerisms to the role - and within 6-7 episode he is gonna be butter smooth. Otherwise, Ayaan is still the same - madly in love with his Asad Bhaaijaan and placing him on a pedestal and giving 'fit ho ya nahiin ho' marks to Zoe. Zoe's Chip n Dale pal with whom he can bicker and yet have a sensible relationship.
I do feel that he has come back a tad matured and responsible but we need a few more episodes to see how this plays out - but you know what and honestly? My favourite moment in today's episode was not an AsYa moment but the HumaYan moment. The way Humzie was watching him from behind a pillar with those teary eyes and the melting apology in Ayaan's eyes when he looks back at her. For me, Ketki and Vikrant have already clicked.
AsYa? All that we expected actually happened. Asad was furious, hurt and livid when he recalled how lovingly he had gifted her that Sari and then, when he saw the present state of the Sari. And of course, the embarrassment marathon of the aunties was not helping. It was a gift of love and both the tailor and BCA did a horrible job with it!
Dilshad is a rockstar baby! Bow down to her craft of always saving Zoe and shutting up the aunty brigade.
But hey! I don't know if anyone noticed this towards the end. You all were asking that why couldn't Zoe wear something else - some other sari or churidaar. But her words to Dilshie even though she was literally shaking in Asad's terror sealed it all. Asad had given her that Sari and she had wanted to wear it on this function - because it was his gift and no matter how immature or silly her decision may look , they were just innocent flawless feelings - For Asad.
Oh , and the episode sealing with Asad's 'What The What The What The' expression when he calls Zoe a 'Modern Chaand' was the icing on the cake. If only he would show that much speed of reflexes when Zoe questioned him in the room - "Main bhi toh aapse kittne saare sawaal kartee hoon, aap bhi toh kabhi koi jawaab nahiin dette."
P.S- My heart went out to Humzie. Her love for Ayaan is like, so, emotional, man! All the feels! The sight of her looking at Ayaan from hiding - BEAUTIFUL.
