Yeh Kya Hua...
In a never imagined decision, the most powerpacked performers on Nach Baliye were eliminated in the semifinal round of the show. Yes, it was Bakhtiyar and Tanaaz, who said goodbye to the most popular show on television, Nach Baliye.
When Poonam and Manish(hosts for the semifinals) made this shocking announcement, the lively sets of Nach Baliye dissolved into a pool of silence. Aghast, no body was able to utter any thing. The energetic jodi itself took some time to come to terms with the unbelievable decision, which fate brought their way.
Unfortunately, it was just the difference of one point from the janta which made Gauri and Yash sail through, such was the level of competition. The jodi had performed on O Hasina Julfo Wali( masterji's choice) in the judge's choice round.
"Is desh ki janta apna president to sahi se chun nahin sakti, best jodi kya chunegi!" said an annoyed Bakhtiyar. Tanaaz tried her best to control her tears, but all in vain. The best dancers could not help feeling bad for this never imagined defeat. We all are going to miss you Bakhtiyar and Tanaaz, and as our judges rightly put it, "ab stage kaun todega!"

It happened for the first time in the history of Nach Baliye, that everyone right from the judges to the audience gave a standing ovation to the jodi, such was the impact of their performance. What a moving performance it was! A performance which had a strong message incorporated, which spoke about communalism and that too with such conviction. Hats off to the jodi and their choreographers, Harshal and Vithal, who communicated it with such subtility.
Teary eyed masterji could not speak anything but, "aaj hamare desh ki yahi halat hai!". While Kunal Kohli confessed that he had cried, when he had seen the song in Roja, and he has cried again on the jodi's beautiful depiction of the song. Gorgeous Malaika's desire to work with the most creative choreogaphers Harshal and Vithal got another boost!
Earlier in the judge's choice round the jodi had danced to the tunes of K Sera Sera( Malaika's choice). And once again they managed to get full score on the judges scoreboard with their amazingly stylized performance. Besides, Tina managed to get a kiss from the Serial kisser! Hussain and Tina, seems it's become a habit with you to create magic on stage! Lets see what's in store for them in the finals of Elaan-e-Jung only on Nach Baliye!
