Nupur and Gunjan too made their way towards the auditorium.

Though Mayank had been walking with Rhea his mind was somewhere else.
Mayank made Rhea sit on the chair and kept two chairs for the duo.
He knew she would be coming with Gunjan but unfortunately Rhea gave away the seats to Sonia and a guy with her.

Mayank was surely disappointed he wanted Nupur to take the seat but it dint really work out. So he just slipped on his seat and showed a lot of disinterest which was noticed by Rhea surely but she ignored it as she knew the reason.

Soon all the students and teachers had taken the seat and the principal was about to announce.

"Good morning! everyone. We are here this morning to talk about the upcoming event in college. As always we will be having the fresher's party where the seniors will perform and play games and everything else that has been happening. "

Rhea looked at Mayank only to find him looking towards the opposite direction. She followed his eyes and found he was looking at Nupur. This irritated the hell out of her just to gain his attention she placed her hands on his and smiled at him. Mayank too smiled at her

and gently removed her hand only to leave a shocked and insane Rhea.

But her trance was broken by a loud and quite clear voice.

"First year students shall be watching the program and will do a group performance at the end according to their talents and since there are new comers in second and third year too we also have some work for them. They will perform with the fresher's and since they are older they will take care of backstage too.
For the dance performances by the seniors we have already chosen the teams.
Sonia and Jay
Rhea and Mayank
and so on. I hope you all are quite happy with the teams and hopefully all of you will do well as of now the meeting is over if required I call for it again. You can start the practice today itself cause the party will be just next week. And ofcourse there will be a group performance by the students of all years separately. For all other things contact Ms.Aaha"

Saying this, the principal went out. Rhea was happy because she knew this would happen and she felt victorious though it was no win for her but she felt so because she was paired up with Mayank. Earlier she would have taken it casually but with Nupur

coming in ,it was important for her atleast.

"I am so happy Mayank."

"Me too baby."

Rhea just smiled.

Before she could say anything Mayank added

"Let's go."

"Yes"

They moved out of the room quietly but as soon as they came out of the auditorium Rhea spoke

"Mayank what do you think which song we should perform on?"

"Whatever you like. I am always ready and "

Saying this he stopped just to make her curious

"And...What?"
She asked impatiently.

"And nothing."

He said while giggling ,he wanted to feel normal. He was confused why he was feeling low even after coming across the news of fresher's party for which he had been waiting.

Rhea just glared at him but before Mayank could say anything else they were interrupted by someone.

"Hey Ms. Aaha has called the second year students to the classroom."

"Okay we are coming."
Rhea said.

Mayank and Rhea moved towards the respective class but while going Mayank saw Nupur sitting on a bench in the quadrangle. He dint want to miss the chance but he had Rhea coming with him so he needed an excuse for sure. After thinking a bit he spoke

"Rhea you go I'll come in a few minutes."

"But.."

Rhea was about to add more but Mayank dint want to give her a chance cause he knew if he gave her a chance to speak any further he would have to explain a lot more to her for which he surely dint have time.

"I'll see you in a few minutes bye ."

Saying this he ran away.

Rhea was going to make her way towards the classroom but her eyes caught the sight of Nupur sitting alone and Mayank tiptoeing towards her. She just silently moved away to make sure that they dint see her as she just wanted to observe things and get a conclusion and solution for her.

Mayank was tiptoeing towards her from the back because he wanted to scare her .

He went close to her and shouted

"Hola."

Nupur who was sitting there reading a book got hell scared so she started screaming with her eye closed.

Nupur kept shouting so Mayank put his hand on her mouth to make her quiet.

"Nupur Nupur shhh' it's me Mayank."

He said while making himself visible.

Hearing him say so, she slowly opened her eyes.

"Mayank how could you do this?"

She said while hitting him hard on his chest and while getting up from her seat.

"I just wanted to distract you."

"Huh?'

"You seemed so engrossed in reading a book so I wanted to distract you."

He said while smirking.

"You are too much."

"Really? "

"Yes"

"Thank you."

"You're welcome ."

Finally at the end they both smiled.

"Ok Nupsy."

Before he added more he made sure she had no objection to her pet name given by him and seeing her smile he continued.

"I wish I could dance with you. Tell me why you dint join us last year."

He had said it sweetly and unknowingly.

He bit his lower lips after saying so.

Nupur just silently smiled and said

"What make you say so?''

"Umm..Nothing'"

He was going to add but Samrat came in between

"Mayank Nupur what are you both doing over here? You should reach class as soon as possible else Ms. Aaha will be angry."

Mayank thought that Samrat was here for his rescue and this time his presence made him really happy. So he immediately responded.

"Yes Yes we shall proceed."

Nupur noticing his nervousness just smiled and leaded them from the front while Mayank stood there for a minute, took a deep breath and followed the duo.

Rhea who was standing there and noticing all this stuff just quickly made her way towards the class.

They had reached the class and made their way towards their seats.

"Ok students. I hope everyone is over here. Let's start. Is it okay?"

The teacher asked.

"Ok so It's all just fine out here. So I called for this meeting because I want to check whether the chosen teams are good enough. They are ought to be good but still we want to have a sneak-peak .So the teams please make your way towards here one by one."

One by one all of the teams came out and showed some of their moves with Ms.Aaha correcting their mistakes. And now it was time for Mayank and Rhea to come out.

Rhea stood up with excitement and stretched her hands towards the disinterested Mayank .

He just smiled and followed her.

The music was turned on and Rhea had a smile on her face while Mayank seemed lost somewhere. It was as if he wasn't interested because as he said he wanted Nupur to join it.

As soon as this thought struck his mind he shook his head to take that out of his mind and continue with Rhea.

Though he had started off with Rhea nothing seemed to have been going right.

"Ok ok stop please."

Ms.Aaha interrupted .

Soon the music was stopped and they both stood there.

"Rhea you seem to lose coordination.

Hey you please can you come here?"
