Episode 25B: You are my love...

Mita looks into the form and points at the blank space….."yahaan papa ke naam barrna hai na??"

Reshu was lost for words….but then she looked at the little girl and nodded….."haan beta…."

Mita: toh aap kyun nahi likh rahi ho?? Bathaao na mamma, mere papa ka naam kya hai?

Reshu let a deep sigh and tried to spell it out but it felt as if the name struck in her throat…..

But she gathered herself and bent down to write the name and simultaneously spelled it out "Sameer Rathod"

A few months back, a morning in Himachal…..

"mitaa…..kahaan chupi ho baby?? Jaldi aa jaao beta…..tumhe nahlaane ke baadh mujhe bhi nahaana hai…..chalo aa jaavo…"

Reshu was calling Mita but she was hiding somewhere and fooling around with her mom…….

Reshu speaks to herself, "offo….yeh ladki kahaan gayi?? Kitne dher se bulaa rahi hoom…."

She starts searching all rooms for her…..and finally she reaches Sophie's room……and finds Mita sitting at Sophie's laptop….

"Mita….maine kitni baar kahaa hai ke aise badon ke cheezon ko haat nahi lagaathe…..abi isi waqt utto aur humaare kamre mein jaao"

She scolded Mita for touching the laptop……Mita posed a sad face and walks out…..

Reshu goes to the laptop to check if Mita has meddled anything….she calls out to Sophie who is in the bathroom, "Sophie, isse off karke jaathi na??? main ek minute late aathi toh na jaane Mita tumaare laptop ke saat kya karthi…"

Sophie replies from there,"sorry didi…..main uss story padhkar aise hi so gayi….off karne bhool gayi…thanks!"

Reshu: thanks mujhe matth kaho…..tumaari laptop ki kismet acchi hai! Bacch gayi!

Sophie giggles in response….

Reshu is about to close the page and shut down when she sees her Arjun's, that is Sameer's photo on the page……

She is stunned beyond what words can express….She slumped into the chair seeing him…….

After the initial moments of shock, she looks back into the page…

Mindlessly, she starts reading the blog……and the story gives her the entire picture of what had happened and how Sameer was kidnapped and that was why he didn't turn up to meet her parents……

She was shocked but her shock was beyond limit knowing that his name wasn't Arjun but Sameer Rathod…..The mirage of Arjun broke away so suddenly that it left a deep cut, a hurt feeling of being cheated by him, a lie which he had playfully told her hurt her the most!

She couldn't forgive him so easily….He was her Arjun for so many years and in an instant she couldn't take that he was no longer Arjun but Sameer….

She was in a lost state when Sophie came out drying her hair with the towel and wondered what happened and why is she sitting at the laptop, "kya hua didi??"

Reshu snapped out and closed the laptop and replied "kuch nahi…..kuch bhi nahi hua"

Reshma had been living with this truth for months now….but she didn't show it off…….neither did she take any step to contact Sameer……she was fighting, arguing with herself, with her mind, with her thoughts, with her heart to come to a decision…..

She wasn't sure what to do……so she just left it to God and tried to leave things to him and her destiny!

Months later, the discussion with Sophie and also some more counseling from her and the endless innocent questions from Mita had made her accept the fact that Sameer Rathod was the person she loved! And then she finally tried to digest the truth that whatever be the name, yet the person she loved remained the same…..

And if her love and devotion to him was true and sincere then his name shouldn't matter……..and perhaps, Mita's future also was a concern…..

Reshma felt that her ego of letting go the truth that Sameer lied to her shouldn't come between Mita and her father…..and it shouldn't deprive her daughter of a family and most importantly her father's love…..

The blog and his initiatives to reach her was more than a proof to show that he loved her deeply even now….else why would he search for her now??….why would he wait for her even after so many years?

Now the ball was in her court…all she had to do is to throw away all her anger and stubbornness and go back to him!

Back to the weekend evening at the beach house….[see my devil is always fair in love and war! 😉]

After a silent romantic dinner and then a stroll at the beach under the moon light, holding hands, they decide to head back to their private space….

Once in their paradise, Arjun freshened up quickly……..He strolled into the sit out and his mind instantly took a retour of his life with Riya….

It was in this same place that he and Riya shared the first passionate kiss and then the immediate fight which even edged to a break up….But luckily, everything settled off well and today they were a happy couple…..but he was amused at the roller coaster journey which made them see this day!

So many months have gone by and they had so many memories to cherish for a lifetime now……

In a few more months, it was their first wedding anniversary and he had already started planning a surprise for his Riya….

He closed his eyes relishing his most memorable moment with Riya and it felt magical when he suddenly realized that Riya was just behind him….

He didn't open his eyes….He turned around and then slowly opened his eyes and yes, his princess, his Riya was indeed there….

He encircled her waist with his hands and pulled her closer to him….

Looking into her eyes, he enquired "tumhe mujhse kuch kehna hai na?"

Riya was amused as he had read her mind…yes he was right…….

She slowly replied, "haan, lekin aapko kaise patha chala?"

Arjun:[touching her forehead with his] kyun ki tumaare chehre pe likha hai aur main apni wife ki chehra acche se padh saktha hoom……samjhi……ya….

As he drags it, Riya cuts it short with a grin, "samajh gayi….."

Arjun: so?? Baat kya hai?"

Riya: [hesitant but starts speaking slowly when he shook her up and nudges to go on, playing with his shirt buttons] aapko nahi lagtha ke humein ab baby keliye try karna chahiye…

Arjun is shocked, "kya?? Kya kaha tumne?"

Riya: aap itna shock kyun ho rahe ho??? Ek saal hone waala hai…isiliye maine socha…."

Arjun: isska matlab tum ek saal mein hi mujhse bore hogayi, huh?

Riya: oh God Arjun….aap baat ko kaise ghumaa lethe ho…I didn't mean that……shaayad aapke family aur mera….matlab woh bhi wish karthe honge na?

Arjun: I so knew it….maa ne tumhe brainwash kiya hoga na?? yeh maa bhi na

Riya cuts him short, "ab unne dhaantiye matth….unnone kuch nahi bathaaya….maine hi unnke wish……

Arjun: [cutting her short] baat unki wish ki nahi hai sweetheart! Baat humaari hai……sabse important tumaari wish hai…..tum kya chahthi ho??? Kya tum ready ho ek baby keliye???

Riya lowers her gaze blushing and nods "hmmm"

Arjun grinned at her reply and shyness….

He replied kissing her cheeks gently, "agar aisi baat hai phir kuch aur sochne ki zaroorat nahi hai Riya….tumaare demand mere sarr aankhon parr…[a few seconds of silence and he adds naughtily with a wink] par yaad rakhna, ab koyi bahaana nahi chalega….humein bohat mehnat karni hogi…..samjhi ya samjhaavum?"

Saying that he lifted her and twirled her once and slid her down only when they were inside the bedroom……
