Your wish list of roles for young stars?

Many newcomers are being launched and some have managed to make a mark in Bollywood. We've discussed dream roles for other actors many times but rarely much discussion on roles we wish to see the newer lot doing.

I want to see Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra (it's a fresh jodi and I think they'll suit each other well) in Sohni Mahiwal. I feel both of them fit in well in romantic roles and both of them having a bit of a Punjabi background helps (they have the suitable facial features).

And I want to see Arjun Kapoor in a remake of Sunny Deol's Arjun. After seeing promos of Aurangzeb I feel he has it in him to manage this role. He'll portray the angst well.

I want Deepika Padukone in a biopic of Rani Roopmati or Rani Padmini or as Sati if the Immortals of Meluha is ever made into a film. She has dazzling beauty. No wonder Rajini chose her for Kochaidaiyaan!

I think the child-woman Alia Bhatt could do well in a remake of Guddi. Someone like SRK or Salman could play Dharmendra's role of a larger than life superstar that Guddi is besotted with.

Ranbir - do an action film
Arjun , Varun , Sid , Ayushman , ranveer , or Sushant some combo in a 2-3 hero movie is like it

I like Parineeti in whatever she does

I wanna see deepika do a movie with Salman or Aamir before they retire . (Hopefully Salman )

Yes Deepika and Salman will make an awesome pair with the looks and screen presence they have. I wonder why they have not yet worked together...

Aamir-Deepika looks improbable considering he does so few films and also plans to focus more on filmmaking after he's done with the current acting projects he has.

Ayushmaan could be a good choice in a remake of Angoor. Sanjeev Kumar's film was plain. Ayushmaan can make it more zany! Kunal Roy Kapoor can play Deven Verma's role. Ayushmaan and Kunal Roy Kapoor will make it interesting and fun.

The thread was basically about newcomers and young actors. Vidya Balan and Khans are not newbies. Likes of SOTY team, DPad, DPenty, Ileana, Ranbir, Ranveer, Anushka, Asin, Sushant, ARK, Ayushmaan, Vidyut Jamwal, Sonam, Sonakshi, Yami are more of the new gen actors.

Why do you want Salman with Vidya? I think that's the most super-duper unlikeliest pair ever! They do not complement each other in any way. 😲

I do not think VB, John, PC types fall in new or young lot.

Vidyut Jamwal should be cast in a remake of any of Akki's Khiladi series! He has the makings of a solid action hero.

I want Deepika to work with heroes she hasn't worked with yet...Hrithik, Salman, Emraan, Sushant, Varun and Siddharth! Her film with Arjun is confirmed
