Yes, I really love the ghagras. Unlike other serials, wich have a heavy work and to that they add heavy jewelleryđ¤˘, SC uses subtle n contrasting colors wid least jewellery (a watch, bangles, earrings and dat kamarbandh n payal) for Kumud.
i really love her neon shaded ghagra wid green ghagra, pink choli and white dupatta
I really loved Saras's jeans and that white shirt. Gautam is very crct, white suits him d mostđł. Even his suit ws apt!
probably Sunny has branded shirts like van huesen or turtle, blackberry, or all top brands for mens' clothingsđ¤Ł

n best part is dat all d 3 sisters hv 3 different costumes to wear

Tish you have a very sharp eye, shabash!!! đ
I agree the colours are so subtle and I love the combos they come up with on Kumud, and the jewelry is subtle too. What's that saying, less is more? It's realistic too, because what village girl is going to teach all day wearing heavy jewelry and makeup? Come to think of it, Kumud wears a very nice palette on her face as well, just as nice as her wardrobe. It doesn't compete with the colours of her clothing, only highlights it. Like you don't want people to notice what you're wearing, you want them to notice you. And when you wear whatever suits you, people notice you. On Kumud, I loved the choli ghagra she wore during the kite scene when she and Saras were chasing the kite down the road and she made a very brilliant vision while the theme song was playing. Such warm hues and their tone was very suited for the warmth of that scene, where they are running after the kite like kids and abandoning their "samskar" for just a few minutes. Here he isn't the Dubai businessman and she isn't the Ratnagiri schoolteacher they are both just children who grew up in that village and coming back to their roots. Loved it.
I love Saras in the white with jeans too. I absolutely drooled over him in the orchid color Lacoste shirt, and the scene where he sports a black dress shirt and rimless metal sunglasses.
With the three sisters, I like the fact that they give them not only different style to wear so each has her own signature style but that fact that each one of them has a distinctly different colour to wear which flatters her skin type and makes her stand out from the other two. So not only Kumud is looking nice but all three as daughters of Vidyachatur. All three of them wear very little jewelry and just enough makeup to complement their outfits, this is a boon because they have to do chores around the house and stuff. Plus too much would be overkill.
Guman's saris are nice too. Did you notice how huge her sister's statement necklaces are? đ She likes to wear big things.
In general, I like how the cast wears ethnic clothing. Not only is it true to form, but it gives one a sense of Indian culture for viewers outside the country. Like Vidyachatur, his brother, wife, and everyone wear traditional clothing while Saras and Sunny wear modern styles from Dubai.
