copying one of my posts from the dialogue we are having on arshi's crisp bytes thread on the 08 may epi...
there are TWO things happening in the hug scene...
1) kumud is declaring her love ...through the dialogue...
2) saras is declaring his love .. through the hug... NO dialogue..
by the above logic...the hug has too be long since saras is not saying 'i love you' but demonstrating through the hug...
...also wanted to close out one more niggling question on the passion missing in kumud during the hug...
...there have been tons of posts on this, all of which are way off the mark...
..when saras suddenly hugs her...
... she actually goes from "Hey, What the..." --> "ok??? this is new" --> "oh..kk (realization)" --> "Yes!! He feels the same" --> "Thank you god, thank you god" --> "Aww..just let me remain like this forever" --> "Control control"...
..so if this post started with the premise that passion is missing in the hug scene...I believe its the wrong premise...
...methinks it was pure acting magic...no one could have pulled it off...take a bow jennifer...
...so there is passion only at the end, subject to her dawning realization that she has got her answer...
..suggest we give the benefit of doubt to the actors and enjoy the way forward...
