TOI: Bahus score big in IPL (Sandhya)

Till the last edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), we saw only Bollywood celebrities at the cricket matches. But things changed this time. Popular TV faces - Sandhya from 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' and Pankhuri from 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara' - have made their presence felt on the field.

They have been seen felicitating the cricketerswith the Star Plus Nayi Soch Award after every match. Sandhya (Deepika Singh) says, "It has been a great experience to not only give away awards, but also to know how much people love and admire our shows. The love and affection we have got across venues has been overwhelming."

Pankhuri (Disha Parmar), who has been to over four matches, says, "People have approached us for photos and even invited us home to meet their parents." Kumud (Jennifer Winget) from Saraswatichandra adds, "What was amazing was that people didn't mind waiting patiently for almost half an hour to take a snap with me while the match was on."
