I'm guessing you're trying to say that he's afraid of being his father. he has this shattered image of his father and because of his ultimate fear of seeing his father in himself it's becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. Also I can gather from this picture that Asad in some ways IS like his father. He also keeps to himself, and lashes out at the least expected times. Of course Asad is a little more of a take charge kind of man, but they both have gotten used to a life of solitude and even fear. They never say what they feel, unless the extenuating circumstances force them to like Rashid's outburst when he was arrested and Asad's confession of something happening to Zoya driving him crazy :)
