KESAR- Tuesday (08-16-05)

1. Kadambari tells Abhi that the remaining few days of his life would be the best he's ever had and that he would do a very noble deed before dying. Abhi doesn't quite believe her and asks her as to how would he die. Kadambari tells him that she sees water everywhere. He would have an accident, there would be a lot of people around but no one would be able to help him. He asks her as to how could she be too sure. She tells him that the aura surrounding a person who is dying gets lesser and lesser just as his. Just then, one of Kadambari's workers come and tell her that his wife gave birth to a baby boy just as she had said. Abhi is shocked.

2. Rudra comes in Kesar's office. She pretends to be upset with him. He hugs her but she tells him that she was looking for him since morning. He tells her that he an NRI made a huge investment in their housing society and he went to meet him. He then asks her as to what the date is today. She tells him to check the calendar and leaves from there and tells him that she is has an important work to attend to. Rudra tells himself that she doesn't even remember that it's his birthday. As he sits on the chair, he sees a huge card in front of him from Kesar. He smiles upon reading it. Kesar is standing at the door sings him 'happy birthday'. Rudra smiles ('Bepanha' song plays).

3. Abhi is bothered over what Kadambari told him and decides to talk to Kesar. He calls up Anand and asks him as to where Kesar is.

4. Abhi comes to the bakery where Kesar is. The cake decorator asks Kesar as to whose name should he write on the cake. Just then, Kesar sees Abhi and says his name. He asks her to come with him, as he has to tell her something important. Kesar asks the cake decorator to send the cake at her house.

5. Abhi tells Kesar that he has to tell her something important but is unable to say anything. Kesar gets worried and asks him as to what the matter is. He asks her whether he would take care of Amma if something happens to him. Kesar is surprised by his behavior. He asks her whether she would come whenever he calls her. She tells him that she can't, as she promised Rudra not to meet him but she will also fulfill the promise she made to him about Amma. She then tells him that she has to go, as it's Rudra's birthday. Abhi tells himself that Rudra would be celebrating his birthday while he would be mourning over his coming death. She tells him that he should get married. He tells her that he doesn't want to commit himself to any relationship anymore. He asks her whether she would spend some time with him. Kesar asks him as to what is he talking about but he is unable to tell her the truth. Kesar tells him that she has to leave, as it is getting late. Abhi feels bad and tells himself that it is very difficult for a dying man to tell anyone that he has a few days left to live.

6. Everyone at the Mallya house is waiting for Kesar. Dadi tells Rudra that she has gone to bring his cake. Just then, his cake gets delivered and after a few minutes, Kesar comes. They gather around the table. Rudra tells her that he likes her surprise. He opens the box of the cake and is surprised to see Abhi's name. Kesar is shocked too. Rudra feels bad and wipes out Abhi's name. He cuts the cake but keeps thinking about Abhi's name on it.
