Episode 266 Discussion: 8th May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 266 discussion - EOD Summary

Ashiq Pistolli's (aka Sultan's) unexpected appearance at the party, leads to full blown showdown RK ishtyle, Madhu and Sultan's reputation tarnished in front of the party crowd.

Events Of The Episode

1. Dipali performs a dance sequence while the party crowd looks on and cheers. Sultan arrives at the studio and enters the party and stands next to a gleeful Dipali. Madhu and RK are both shocked at Sultan's appearance. Madhu moves forward and asks Sultan how he came there. Sultan informs her about receipt of invitation from a servant followed by SMS from Madhu a short while ago. Dipali deduces that since Sultan is Madhu's well wisher, SMS must have come only from her phone. Madhu implores RK to believe her that she did not call Sultan. Sultan decides to leave however RK prevents him saying he cannot leave RK's party without eating/drinking something. He then turns to Madhu and says for his sweet wife pati parmeshwar and meheman bhagwan are both the same. So taking into consideration her feelings, he should stop Sultan. RK insults Madhu by asking whether she is angry because Sultan came late or RK did not give them a chance to meet secretly. Madhu asks him to stop it and suggest that Sultan should leave. All are watching this stunned.

2. RK tries to offer a drink to Sultan who pushes it away causing glass to break. RK calls Sultan Roadside Romeo, tells everyone to be afraid of him since he owns a pistol and won't hesitate to use on those who dare hurt his Madhubala. Radha and Madhu repeatedly request him to stop his tirade but RK continues insulting Sultan and Madhubala. Sultan loses his cool and warns RK to stop otherwise all hell will break lose.

3. RK goads him saying how dare Sultan is worried about a married woman when her pati is standing next to her. Sultan retorts that this is indeed not right place for him since in his world women are neither slapped nor humiliated in public. He turns to leave when RK pulls him back and punches him hard on his face. All are stunned. Sultan is about to retaliate when Madhu shakes her head no and he refrains from hitting RK.

4. RK threatens Sultan that he will not tolerate Sultan's interference next time. Sultan looks at Madhu's tearful face, fumes and leaves without a word. RK says PACK UP and drags Madhu with him. Everyone leaves the party. Diapli smirks and she is confident that along with this party, it is time for Madhu's PACK UP as well.

Episode ends.

Why does RK always have to humiliate the women in his life (his choti si duniya) in front of a big audience?! You were a pig today RK, a total PIG!

I thought I would enjoy watching RK punch Sultan. I felt sick instead.

Is this the lowest you are going to take him CVs? Or is there more destruction of his character to come?

Precap - So there is more to come tomorrow. Yes I will watch. I care too much about these two not to. But damn you CVs!!

It was a nice gripping episode today but then hated RK He could have said pack-up earlier and then resolved his issues with Madhu. Why wash his dirty linen with full audience. I hate his penchant for having audience being witness to all his drama. If I were in Madhu's place (assuming she has no feelings for Sultan) then I would have kicked him and left.

BTW, why did Sultan stood there like a statue to listen all the dialogues. He could have left earlier. But then he wouldn't have got the opportunity to show him as a prospective better husband. And didn't understand his 'Apna apmaan bardaasht kar sakata hoon par Madhu ka nahi'. But all said and done, I am more irritated and angry with RK. He deserves a kick at the place it hurts the most🤢

Agree with u. Unfortunately Madhu proved innocent at home. Dipali exposed at home with no audiance. Both hubby and wife get tarnished at their party

Exactly he was a PIG today. But what do CV's have in mind. How much are they gonna ruin his character? At this rate how is he going to redeem himself? Or do they have another hero in mind now and that's the reason to destroy old character

RK goes on in his own RK style telling everyone that he suspects his wife of infidelity. Madhu looking worriedly at RK and Radhaji when Sultan says she invited him only worsens things. That Sultan considers that RK slaps Madhu is, as much as I hate to admit it, along expected lines from his POV. I hope Madhu noted that.

And punch! The anger in both RK and Sultan's eyes as they had a stare down as brilliant. Madhu stops Sultan from retaliating for now. I think it was a bad move in a way.. If they had fought there the whole affair would have had a swift resolution.. But now Sultan will go home and brood over the whole matter. On the other hand, Madhu's actions do damage control in front of the guests and media.

Not that it will help anyone. Madhu's innocence in this matter will come out in private at RK mansion in front of RK's family. Meaning the guests won't know of it unless another party is held just for this purpose .. which will again get sabotaged. All parties & poojas in MEIEJ are jinxed. Something or the other always happens.

And now on to more drama tomorrow.

ETA: Towards the end, wasn't Sultan focusing on Madhu's single tear before he left?

Dipali's item number 😆 perhaps the last item number but good news is that she may find work as a bar dancer 👏

RK singing "oh my darling" to Madhu the best part about the item number was DVD looking out of this world together..holding hands and looking at each other...Dipali phir se snakeali banke RK se chipak rahi thi 🤢 how does she pull off these stunts in the presence of hundred guests

Bhai made a spectacular entry..as if Madame Tussauds ka naya model unravel ho raha tha 👏

Madhu and Sultan engaged in a sweet innocent talk "maine tumhe kab SMS bheja"? 😆 " i should leave.." 🤣 aise kaise?? aashiq ka janaza shaan se niklega na...

Zoya, you were saying Madhu RK ki izzat ka band bajayegi through this party but isn't he enough to do it? in front of his own people he BBB'd Sultan and Madhu and apni izzat ka bhi BBB nikal diya. 😵 goes to show he's still normal 😆 terrace jumping was a waste...felt very bad for her...but this is just a trailor of how dangerous the situation can be between RK and Sultan... i won't say this is Madhu's own doings but she has to share the blame...if Madhu has an option, who wud she want to see dead? 😕

may be I was watching it in a good mood but i liked the face off b/w RK and Sultan..👏 very well written, very well enacted by all..power packed scene..Sultan ka band baj gaya 🤪..aajkal only 1 or 2 episodes r nice every week and this was one of them...that's another story ke CV's again made Sultan the gentleman and make RK look like a villain 🥱

"humari duniya mein aurton ki izzat hoti hai"..yeah really ..by killing their husbands? 😕 whatever ! i liked Sultan today...but Sultan, think about it, Aryan ki Madoo tumhe achi nahi lagti ? why would he come to RK's party when he knows well that RK has warned him again and again to not interfere in his life?? RK raised a few valid questions and a few good ones based on the info he had about Madhu and Sultan's "secret" meetings...

the punch was good..😎i know Sultan is capable , RK ki chutney banane ke liye ..how long will Madhu save RK from the "roadside romeo" 🤣

party phir se pack up ho gayi..Radha's friends must be used to this nautanki na?? just now RK started talking to Radha..abhi tak toh RK was taunting his mother , now his wife...

Okaaay, I am contrasting, but I didn't find RK reaction odd. He was much in the guidelines of his character. This sultan guy pointed a gun and said I am alll protective about madhu, and deliberately said I. Am a better husband material. Rk told madhu clearly that he is the villian of the story and his insecurities regarding him,Madhu did meet and did that looong hand cuddling after everything. And he lands up at the centre of the stage how would he react????? Yah having an audience for their drama is a must for rk and madhu

If someone like shamsher mallik could fire a bullet at rk is it hard for madhu to understand that the misunderstanding she is nourishing with sultan can have fatal consequences. Would he think twice before hitting at rk if he really takes the sms seriously and witnesses rk forcing madhu.? did she imagine the situation as rk pointed out "agar woh goli chal jaathi tho"?.i still believe madhu doesnt want rk dead after all. and is it her ego that she never said tosulthan once the truth that inspite all hell she does love rk!!! She made him believe that she is a damsel in distress who needs to be saved. Just my POV, no offence to anyone

If something did enter that thick head of that green,blue multicolored eye mons@@@, he should understand that madhu is not majboor to stay with rk. And to madhu that things are taking dirty turn and she needs to make her stand clear to sultan if not a simple false alarm would turn her world upside down.

Didn't rk and madhu look so damn a couple in love before sultan fiasco happnd, dips dances like a bar girl before her mother in law and moves on to rk openly, nobody notices,,,,,,,sikky was safe in the cage till the end.

Charu - Nive review. Your review put a smile on my face😃

Just realized RK fulfilled 2 wishes of mine today. One was asking Sultan the question that I have from long about his dialogue about 'Aurat and daaru' and secondly rightly calling him Roadside Romeo😆 But I want Madhtu to give him his 6th and 7th slap tomorrow and complete the weedding and revenge drama😳

Edit: BTW Sultan saw the SMS and then took time to change into party wear and come😆 Just imagine if Madhu was really in trouble and was scared😛
