...the interviews are a curiosity factor...
...bad chemistry in an interview does not create curiosity or preference for a newbie to check out the show...

... i do not care if they are buddies in real life or not...but for heaven's sake...if both are so professional...why can't that reflect in an interview?...its another acting assignment...

if we as loyal fans feel something is not right (whatever the reason)...what will a newbie who is not following the show makeof it?...

this is just bad marketing by the channel, the show and the leads...

I dont agree to it. Just see Madhubala ...Vivian & Dhrashti share cold vibes too offscreen. They hardly give any joint interviews these days ..during the initial days I had seen Dhrasti had tried to be friendly while giving interviews but Vivian was always cold . So now she too has given up. But does their offscreen distance affect the show TRPs ? Madhubala is among the top 5 among Indian shows & Rishabala is the most loved on screen pair! Regarding trps SC is only 2 mnths old ...with more time I am sure the show is going to make its way to the top. Regarding the leads offscreen masti its mostly watched by the internet audience & they arnt the trp getters. Majority viewers in India doesnt care about any offscreen chemistry ...they are hardly interested in the personal lives of the leads. They just want to watch a gud show at the end of the day onscreen.

in india people want costars linked that is best way of promoting movies and now serials
look at majority superstars they have affairs, fights with press, some controversy or other. When their film is just around this all happens to attract attention of audience to film/serial later on they that same heroine becomes some stranger. Its high time we realize the gimmicks. These are just promotion tactics to succeed their film/serial/show. Even big actors like Khans have used all these gimmicks to bring their movies to limelight.
In india true talent does not/rarely gets any appreciation or success. Good serials have low trps and oft repeated story serials have high trps based on such gimmicks. Same goes for movies.
Its high time we starts respecting and promoting real talent not gimmicks. Same happens to awards deserving never get awards only lobbying wins. Then only good actors like Manoj bajpai, Gautam Rode, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, etc will get reconition and fame they deserve. But seeing these blind fan worship it will be many years/generations when real talent will suceed/win awards.
Regarding Jennifer/GR initially i found Jenny unsuitable for this role but she is improving by the day. I think this is because Jenny is bubbly fun loving whereas kumud is a very mature character and role. Her chemistry with GR was initially lacking/akward but now improving. Regarding their personal equation it does not matter if they are friends or not.
But i observed in india successful pairs are usually people who were linked in real life too like dilip kumar-madubala, dharmendra-hemamalini, amitabh-rekha, srk-kajol etc. So i am not sure lets see the success of this show till end. Its best to be friends with your costar but married woman in india have boundaries set by society. Hence married actresses get scared to show that they are friendly with their male costars with whom they work. May be they get scared of the link ups which may spoil their married life. But these boundaries are not there for married actors. That is main reason married heroines are not taken till very recently in movies. Once they are married their career was over. Even now for intense romantic movies married heroine are not paired with actors only for offbeat roles they are taken or family entertainers. In india audience do not like to see married heroines paired opposite heros. This does not happen in hollywood.

So then she adopts whatever defense mechanism she can, such as stonewalling in joint interviews!! Given her talent for acting, she should have just acted "normal friendly costar" and got away with it...

Exactly!!! I also think no need to fake it...you can act friendly for your own show!!!Nothing wrong in it.

Exactly my point here. Sorry but ever since yesterday I am not feeling the same about SaMuD. And yes my views has been affected.
Big SLB Productions doesn't mean this show will a be big hit. It's sad that trps are failing every other week. You need to contribute in every little way for the sake of this show.

to be honest zitsy, i cannot connect to the show anymore, i feel like not watching them together on screen, samud and GR was the reason i was hooked on to this show, half of my excitement is gone! now i will only watch for GR, but halfheartedly!

i just hope she doesn't leave the show as i HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS
They do behave weirdly off screen but i think we should let it go and not blow it more

plz be stick to onscreen chemistry.Did u see weird behavior in Kumud? i think so far Samud is doing a great job in onscreen pairing.as long as they keep doing their job i am happy with that as Samud matters more to me than Jenam.I don't see any problem here...

Ek toh seems like GR ia a very reserved person who just keeps to his proffesion . Didnt see him getting extra - friendly with anyone on the sets .
yeh toh hua GR ki baat ..now regarding Jennifer I think its because of her over possesive husband. In the recent Telly talk interview of Jenny & her husband he was making fun of GR's character & Telly Talk people said hes jealous of Samud on screen chemistry . And also if anyone heard the Kajen 800th AT interview of them he says there that the only person he feels secure with Jenny working is Karan Wahi . The onscreen chemistry is making him jealous & now if Samud does offscreen masti he may leave his show & come running in the sets of SC ! 😆
Waise Samud chemistry on screen is really brilliant 😳

Maybe they just don't show it off on camera?

It's become such a norm to showcase 'camaraderie' that it's honestly overrated.

Two people can be perfectly comfortable and friendly with each other without flashing it's tag to the entire fandom, I think.

With that said I don't know if Jenni and Gautam are comfortable with each other just as we can't assume that they aren't. Those SBS interviews are as scripted as the shows themselves.
