hey guys,

tell me what u guys think about it....😉😊

It is often said that one can know oneself by action rather than by Introspection. This belief can be agreeable for various reasons. A person is defined by his actions. He may be either 'good' or 'bad'. A 'good' person is defined by his actions which result in other people's happiness. On the other hand, a 'bad' person may be defined as someone whose actions hurt others. So we ask ourselves that how do we know OURSELVES. The people of our community may judge us on one action or a mistake done by us. However, it does not mean that we become a 'bad' person.

Our actions play a major role in giving us our own identity. We perform our everyday tasks and try ro fulfill our responsibilities towards our own people. A person may go to his job and work hard for a whole day just to bring a toy for his child. Seeing the child smiling, he thinks that his hard day's work paid off. A student may study hard and try his best to bring good grades. He achieves everything that his parents ever wanted for him. That child does all this just as a token to his parents for working hard for him and for trying to provide him with everything that he ever asked for.

People's actions provide us with the most insignificant yet important information about them. A person's verve may either hurt someone else or maybe themselves. This hurt of maybe pride or self-respect may arouse a turmoil of emotions. Nevertheless, many people mistake these feelings as a way of knowing their inner self. feelings are a nature's way of explaining the unexplainable. One can know oneself only by the activities they perform. A person may like to attend charity functions; which helps him understand the fact that he likes to help out other people. Another person may like to take out time to volunteer in hospitals or temples; performing this action helps the person understand that they are unselfish.

Pondering over the examples given above, it can be clearly said that one can only know oneself by his or her actions and not by Introspection. Instinctive awareness should not be mistaken for one's individuality.

so.......how did u guys like it.......😉

plz be honest😊

love KP😆

WOW KP, 👏 👏 I am impressed.. 👏 well said.. 👏

Yes I agree its by a persons actions rather than words that we judge him or her character!

There is a saying that we are each three people. The one as perceived by others, the one we perceive ourselves to be and the one we really are. These all stem from our behaviour..

Good going KP

well said, simran and KP

action speaks louder than words

there are 4 things in life that cannot be taken back:

1) the past life (ateet)
2) a sped arrow
3) a spoken word
(zabaan ki hifazet dolet say ziyadah muskil hai)
4) neglected opprtunities

Very well said KP. Actions do speak louder than words.

Here is a select collection of quotes on Action, which reinforces your own post.

"I think there is something more important than believing: Action! The world is full of dreamers, there aren't enough who will move ahead and begin to take concrete steps to actualize their vision" - Clement Stone

"I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it" - Jonathan Winters.

"Ideas without action are worthless" - Helen Keller

"I never worry about action, only inaction" - Winston Churchill

it's true KP that a person is defined by his actions which in turn are guided by his instincts. we can't categorize someone as good or bad cos life is not always black or white, there's always grey areas. 😊
