Arjun Punjj, who's all set to marry sweetheart Gurdip Kohli this Sunday, shares his love story with BT
Arjun Punjj can't wait for this Sunday. And that's because the actor's finally tying the know with his girlfriend of past three and a half years-Gurdip Kohli. Currently in Delhi where the wedding's taking place, Arjun sounds excited as he says, "All our relatives are here and they're already started dancing. I told them I've danced enough at their weddings, so now it's their turn," he laughs.
Although the two have known each other for a long time, Arjun says that there's a lot he's looking forward to. " I've seen her in her godd and bad times and vice versa. I live alone in Mumbai and it feels great to realise that I'll be spending the rest of my life with her in my house. It will be fun to discover new things about each other, like what we say to each other first thing in the morning or how she keeps her stuff in the house-little things like that." The duo are planning to head to Maldives for just five days after that as both have to resume work. "We will go to some other place for a longer honeymoon in February next year," he adds.
But now that they will be married, will he have trouble watching her romantic scenes on television? "Earlier i used to do that. We have had our share of problems and misunderstandings. But there's no question of that happening now. There's a lot of understanding and we have full faith in each other." On the professional front, Arjun's quite happy with the way his show Saathi Re on Star One has shaped up and he's also looking to join Bollywood. "I really want to conquer the big screen!" he smiles. So has he received any offers? 'It's always happened with me that the moment I start approaching people for anything, nothing happens but the moment I sit at home, I get calls. So I'll just wait and watch," he adds. maybe with Gurdip in his life, ladyluck will soon shine on Arjun!
