Agree, Asad will absolutely not reject Zoya because she is an illegitimate child, or because he is afraid of Siddique. That is not what I meant, that would totally out of character if he rejects her because she is najayaaz.
Asad might not be a jerk when it comes to his loved ones but the fact is that I don't think that he is going to actually confess his love for Zoya as he is completely against it somehow. He has serious denial issues. So, I mean your prediction might come true, but I think it will be slightly more complicated than that.
And how big a role Siddique will come to play in Asya relationship depends rather on Zoya and not really Asad, because it is her father and she will have to decide what authority or haq she will give as regards her marriage.
But I think that the CVs made this interesting by making him the father of Zoe.
