The anchor talks of being host on 'Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai'
Ansy Austin
As the host of the show 'Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai'(Zee), Roshan Abbas says he works hard to capture moods and emotions of our favourite and not so favourite stars.
What sets him apart from most other anchors is the fact that he never rehearses his shows before the shoot or live presentation. His hosting is apparently impromptu and spontaneous. Roshan explains, "I don't read the script even while hosting award functions. Be it 'Jeena..' or hosting any other show, I just speak what comes on my mind. All that I keep a note of is who will be entering next on the show."
Despite being occupied with his busy work schedule, Roshan says that he in his free time plays with his son and reads books. "I read a lot. The last book that I read was Freakonomics. I basically like reading business books"
Having just completed shooting for an episode with Hussain for 'Jeena...' he says, "Hussain is himself an anchor, so he knew what I wanted him to speak." He signs off saying that all he has to do on 'Jeena...' is to get the emotions and sentiments out of the celebrity on the show.
