Love is when u accept the person as it is.

Great post, and a great mind at work, thanks dear.

I also read that many a times, the person in love releases the same hormones ( don't remember the exact term, so using the word hormones ) as released by people who have gone mad or diagnosed with mental illness. so that explains my behaviour for the last some time !!!!!!!

Could you please also help to simplify why breaking up is sooo painful .

@sector: I'm neither an expert nor a psychologist but yes I can point out few things regarding 'Heartbreak. Each one of us go through this emotion at some point in life. But rather than asking why did this happen to me? Accept it and appreciate that you were able to feel this amazing sensation of being in love. A relationship might work or not work as it depends on lots of factors. But the excruciating pain it leaves behind is rather unbearable. But still you have to go on with your life. Like any physical wound, even this wound would heal with time. And as the phrase goes 'God helps them who help themselves'. Free your heart from this pain and agony.
Forgive the person who gave you this pain. Unless you do this, there will always be some bitterness the moment you think about this person.Pick up the flowers(good memories) and throw away the thorns(painful memories).

Just thought this article would help you understand heartbreak better:
