Block all newbies from sending PMs now

To,

Vijay & all the moderators of IF,

I am Anastasia Smith aka anastasia211092 who is regularly active on IF and who follows all the rules of IF.I am posting this because of being frustrated that no action is being taken to safeguard members from hate pms sent by MIDS on a regular basis.
I and a lot of members in Bollywood forum have been abused by hate pms a number of times but till date no action has been taken .I no longer feel safe when posting a message in IF fearing that I will get stalked by MIDS and get another hate pm.
Therefore with all due respect I request you to block newbies from sending PMs to member as fake MIDS use this as an opportunity to abuse members.As IF members we expect you to safeguard us from online bullying.

I support Anastasia. Pls atleast restrict PM facility till a newbie makes a certain number of posts. Some people have no life and take pleasure in abusing others.

very sad to know that some people do such thing and use the PM for wrong things.

Pm is very good idea and it helps allot but if new people misuse this its better to block them from doing so untill they are not that new ..

I understand ,getting troublesome PMs make us feel unsafe in IF.But let me share my two cents about why its not a good idea to block all newbies from PMing.
All the newbies need not be MID's . Every newbie can make only 10 posts per day. In case the PMing right is taken from newbies , it would be unfair to the genuine members (which are not MIDs),Yes they still have the scraps to communicate with ,but if they have a private issue to talk about ,they will have no way out. Secondly if the DT emmbers want to contact the member regarding some posts , the newbie wont be able to reply back and scraps are public so it wont be helpful either.

The newbies have a PM limit .(I will ask a higher DT and let you know how much it is)

I personally feel its not a good idea to block every newbie from PMing due to above reason , It would be better if the PMing limit is reduced .

And about the MIDs troubling you , Forward the ID which is troubling you to section DT . DT will surely do the needed. Anyway will forward this to higher authorities for considering the suggestion.

Then atleast block pm facility for newbies with 0 posts.The MID who send hate pm to regular members are newbies with 0 posts .Let newbies send pm after it was made a certain number of posts.
