How many of IF'ites can imagine Zoe mouthing Qubool nahi hai to Asad at the nth hour on the run up tp their nikah day?
What if the supposed Ajmer track does bring the two closer and Asad is nearer than ever for an all out confession, the rumored track of Tanveer's partial expose ( just the preggers bit I guess), the foiled fatal attempt on Zoe's life...all work out ; but in a last ditch effort Tanveer manages to let Zoe know her dad is in fact alive and that she should meet him on the day of her nikah come rain come flood.
Zoe is smart enough not to make a spectacle out of the the Khan family affair. But she can't believe Sher Khan lied to her about the one thing she truly and deeply cared for, her dad's whereabouts. She is (mis) led to believe Asad lied to her so she could be sent packing back to NY. Zoe is crushed coming to terms with all her feelings and that Asad must've put up with the engagement drama only to soothe his guilt over lying about her dad. Also that he did mean all those refusal of acknowledgment of his feelings. Zoe chides herself for letting her beliefs cloud her from seeing things for what they were and not taking Asad 's word on face value.
Meanwhile, Tanveer has concocted a cock and bull shit story about her pregnancy and Dilshad has no choice but to beg/ convince/ emotional atyachar Asad to marry Tanveer to vindicate Dilshad's vow of honor.
This track will give the production house enough time to bring in a new Ayaan. With Ayaan's return, the production house can keep the rumor mills running over Zoe Ayaan's pairing, but that's unlikely given that coercion or not Ayaan realizes Humzi truly loves him and that he shouldn't punish her for her mother's sins.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, irrespective of what a furry rat's ass track leads to say a Ayaan- Zoya marriage, Asad will not be resentful of either of them. If there's any man in the world he will be tolerant as to be near Zoya it will be Ayaan. All three of them are aware of their feelings towards each other, those expressed and those that remain unsaid, and none of the three will resort to casting doubts on the purity of each others emotions whatever the name their bonds be tagged.
The Ayaan Zoya marriage can only be the outcome of a MU, not the MU itself and hence cannot be the factor that rips AsYa apart.
