loved today's episode.
it was beautiful n fun to c asad's n zoya's interactions. the see-saw of emotions. zoya who want to badly know asad's actual feelings toward her. asad who badly want to keep his emotions towards zoya in check but getting hard to control it. i think he's just finding ways to be close to her unconsciously or maybe consciously. its evident when he went to search for zoya when najma asked him to, without putting up any fight. earlier if the same was asked from him, he would have put a ruckus.
i just loved how zoya wanted asad to say his affection (love) for her first. with the kind of extovert personality she has, she will have no qualms in saying out what she feels for him no matter what the outcome is. but when a woman is in love no matter what kind of personality she or he is, you want ur man to say it out first. she was almost on the verge of spelling it out to him what she expected to hear from him. but she stopped herself on the last minute and kept patience, and changed the situation seeing asad is not going to say it out ter.
asad, being the introvert he is, is not ready to let the cat out of bag yet, but its getting difficult by each confrontation with zoya and she is showing a lot of patience unlike her. he is afraid of her answer, be it 'yes' or 'no'. if its a 'no', i don't think he will be able to bear it and if it's a 'yes', he will have to see zoya undergo more or less the same situation his mother, sister n he undergoes everytime they are in a gathering. he will have see her undergo the same pain and frustrations he undergoes. he knows that with the kind of nature she has, like him she will act strong outside but inside she will be torn out. he thinks when he want to give world's all happiness to her, how can he invite her into his life knowing what it will do to her.
but he doesn't understand that for zoya world's all happiness doesn't mean anything if he is not by her.she won't think twice even if she has to go through world's greatest pain if he is by her side. its good dilshaad is taking matters in her hand since she know her son is not going to take his chance unless its forced n i believe she would not have thrown out that challenge out if she was not sure about their love for each other.
now coming to the hearbreaking part of the episode. today i felt so bad for dilshaad. how much she has underwent n still undergoing for a fault of of not hers.
what right does shireen have to question her after what she had done to dilshaad years ago n she is talking about being good n having a conscious. its a wonder dilshaad doesn't hate her or her kids and doesn't think bad for them. when she said that she thought she n dilshaad could have been friends, its like she was doing a favor. when will she understand that she n her children r living a favor n sacrifice by dilshaad.
i loved how dilshaad didn't keep quite today n gave answers to each n everyone who raised their fingers on her including rashid who always lament why asad is not ready to forgive him. her answers reflected dignity n clarity. she showed everyone that her silence doesn't mean that she will suffer anything thrown at her especially when on her children.
how dare shireen curse her children, especially asad when she knows what he had undergone being fatherless even when his father was living and how he had to support his entire family at such a young age.
the challenge dilshaad thrown at them was forced out of her.
the way asad stood with her throughout her outburst was a son who values his mother's words, who understood her feelings. the emotions that was running on his face shows the turbulations he undergoes each time this subject is brought up.
loved how zoya kept her hand on najma supporting her silently. maybe because she knows that dilshaad and najma are the two persons who needed support and asad was ter supporting his ammi, so she supported najma, which make asad free to concentrate on his ammi. she knows she can help him out later when he silently grieve about it in loneliness by making his special coffee. (hope they don't change this habit of making each others coffees late night after their wedding. let it continue even when they fight n angry with each other)
it was nice to c dilshaad confidently saying out that asad is engaged. it shows her confidence in zoya as much she is confident of her children that if needed zoya will support her. she has understood it during rashid's case.
n lastly miss tanveer, u don't have to so overjoyous, dilshaad know her children very much, especially asad. that's why she answered rashid why his son still hate him. the way asad ran out to get zoya back showed her how much 'drama' her son was doing. the man who didn't stop being a witness in his father's case even when his mother, whom he loved and cared most in this world (zoya, u r almost getting ter), pleaded him not to do, was ready to get zoya back n get engaged. i think no one has any doubt who asad's wife to be is.
in short, today's episode belong to dilshaad. her strength, dignity, understanding and confidence shines throughout. she tried to avoid an ugly confrontation scene but when left without any option she faced it without hiding under tears. shows where asad gets his strength from.
