"You got to be real bitchy to survive in the Bigg Boss's den"…Rakhi Sawant

So the unexpected finally happened on the Bigg Boss show. We are talking about the eviction of Rakhi Sawant---the heart throb of the show. Flanked by her boyfriend Abhishek Awasti at a power packed press meet, she described her eviction in the words "I am sad that I had to leave half way, it was quite a surprise. But I would love to be back in the show even if I am not paid any money"

Nevertheless, her eviction may not be final if the wild card dimension is taken into account. Says Sandiip Sikcand, the chief Creative Director, Sony Television, "She was my favouite on the show, but I am shocked that she is out of the show now. But, we have the option of a wild card entry and the only thing to be decided is whether the audience or the inmates should nominate the new entrant to the Bigg Boss's den. The nominee can be an evictee or a completely new face."

Sandiip has said on many occasions that Rakhi Sawant is the USP of the show. Now, the big question looming across the Bigg Boss's screen is whether Rakhi stands a chance of a comeback?

Adds a rather emotional Rakhi, "I think being nice and caring in the Bigg Boss's house does not make you a strong contender for the title. Look at what happened to Deepak Ji, he was so caring and yet was evicted. You got to be more bitchy and politicking to survive in the den. If ever I get a chance to go back, I'll re-think my strategy to survive longer."

And who does she think is the strong contender for the tiltle? "Well, I would like to name three, Rahul for being intelligent enough to understand the game, Ragini for her invincible spirit and Ravi for his ever ready manipulations. All three qualify for the tiltle, but if I am recalled then prepare for a new twist"

Sandiip warns us about more unexpected events popping-up along the course of the show. "We have a corner in the Big Boss's house that has not been revealed, not even to the inmates. To keep the show going we'll soon reveal more surprises from the Bigg Boss house."

Surely the fireworks have begun. The hunter has become the hunted. Rakhi's eviction only proves that reality shows don't traverse expected lines. The Bigg Boss is poaching. Let's wait for the next victim.

Rakhi Sawant who kept the viewers entertained with her histrionics in the Bigg Boss House talks at length about her recent ouster from the show.

Q What was your experience like in the Big Boss House.
It has changed my life and image totally. I used to get angry over little issues. I entered the Big Boss House because I wanted to learn to control my anger. And I almost achieved it if not for the one incident which happened with Amit (Sadh). It gave me the opportunity to prove that I am not a bad person. I am happy to know that people have started liking me and my image has now changed.

Q Why were you so bugged with Amit?
I do not allow anyone to touch my gifts. That particular morning I woke up and saw ginger and garlic in the cup which Big Boss had gifted me. I tried to control my emotions for 20 days and didn't say anything to Amit. Then Kashmera (Shah) asked me to fight it out with him. When I politely asked Amit about the incident he started shouting at me saying I was a nobody and how dare I question him etc. No woman in India would have tolerated such words. So I retaliated.

Q Were you really in love with Amit?
I used to like him but I was not in love with him. Everyone in the House was busy trying to play games so I thought even I would do the same. The boys took Carol (Gracias) and Roopali (Ganguli) in their team so I thought of taking one of the boys in ours. Aryan (Vaid) was already booked with Anupama (Verma) and Ravi (Kisshen) was behind Carol. Deepakji (Parashar) was too old, whereas one can never think of having an affair with Rahul whose nose and lips are only visible due to his long hair. Only Amit was left in the end. But that guy didn't respond. But everything happens for the good. He is not a nice person as he doesn't respect women.

Q Who do you think is the real culprit who orchestrated your exit?
Ravi Kissenji. He is the biggest dramebaaz in the House. The Biharis have made his stay possible in the Big Boss House.

Q You and Kashmera were getting along well in the beginning. Then what went wrong later?
Kashmera is very political and likes to gossip a lot. I on the other hand am a very bindaas girl who would never play politics but express my dislike directly to a person. But even after all that happened Kashmera and I are good friends. In fact I called her up on Saturday to wish her as it is her birthday. But she is in the US and her secretary picked up the phone.

Q Who do you think are your real friends from that House?
All of them were nice. I don't have any complaints against anyone. I even said sorry to everyone before my exit and asked them to forgive me if I had hurt them. However everyone on the show is always conscious of the camera. But I was the only one who was natural

Q Did you miss Abhishek whom you later admitted to be your boyfriend?
I missed him a lot, in fact even more than my mother. I was just worried that he would take the incident with Amit seriously which he thankfully didn't. He had proposed to me more then 30 times before but I never took him seriously. But I really missed him when I was away on the show.

Q Given a chance would you like to go back to the Big Boss House?
Why not? I would like to go back. Sony is planning a wild card entry. So you guys could see me dancing back in the show.

Call registry: Around 5 to 10 calls.

Work wise: Rajni says, "Rupali uses two phones, but I have switched them off. What will I do after talking to producers who want to work with her? I had taken the phones with me to the set when she was nominated for eviction. Whoever wants to work with her calls on the landline since they know I am at home."

Deepak Tijori

Calls answered by: A voicemail states that he will be out of town for a while. He has left instructions to call his office number or his assistant Addy.

Carol Gracias

Her number has been switched off.

Anupama Verma

Calls answered by: A voicemail instructs the caller to get in touch with another number being used by her mother Romila.

Work wise: Anupama hasn't been getting too many work-related calls because everyone knows she is locked up in Bigg Boss's house. However, some of her friends keep calling to inquire how she's doing and wishing her luck.

Aryan Vaid

Nandini celebrates Rakhi's loss!

When Nandini Jumaani aka Krazy Kat heard that rival item girl Rakhi Sawant had been evicted from Bigg Boss's house, she was so delighted that she had a party to celebrate. She said, "I was so ecstatic that I raised a toast to her loss. I called all my friends over for dinner and drinks."

Nandini and Rakhi are old enemies and Jumaani said that it was Rakhi who first created problems between them. She said, "It began long ago when we were doing a show with Sanober Kabir. We had a common hairdresser. But when she attended to me first instead of Rakhi, her ego was hurt and she created a big scene. She even abused me."

Jumaani added that she was justified in celebrating Rakhi's eviction, saying, "Rakhi deserved to be voted out because she is a fake person. She tried to behave like a lost little girl but she is an actress. Also, doing Bigg Boss has damaged her image. People like to see item girls in sexy outfits, not nightgowns. I think she did it because she doesn't get enough shows these days."

When contacted, Rakhi was speechless for a few seconds about Nandini's vicious remarks, but later said, "God bless Nandini. I have no problems if she celebrated my loss, lekin insaniyat naam ki bhi koi cheez hoti hai. As for the number of shows I am getting these days, you can call show organisers and check the facts. I don't need to prove anything."

Is Anupama taking Aryan for a ride?

If you thought Anupama Verma and Aryan Vaid's love story on Sony's Bigg Boss is the stuff fairy tales are made of, think again. In one the most shocking statements made to media, Rakhi Sawant has revealed that Anupama actually doesn't like Aryan. She is just playing a game in the Bigg Boss house and is being very discreet about it. In one of the heart-to-heart conversations with Rakhi, Anupama said that she has other things to concentrate on and is not really thinking about Aryan at all. But the same doesn't seem to apply to Aryan, who is apparently very serious about her and is thinking about a future together.

Day 28: Rakhi tried to patao Amit, but failed.

"I never acted on the show. This is exactly how I am in real life," Rakhi told Arshad after she was eliminated from the Bigg Boss house. The audience voted the drama queen out. Arshad asked her what went wrong? Rakhi answered that she still believed she was a winner. After Kashmera's exit she had become lonely—they had connected very well. About her feelings for Amit, she said she had never liked him because he was bad mannered. But she admitted that she had tried to patao him because love affaires always helped in this kind of a show. Everybody left the pair alone, just as it has been proved in the case of Aryan and Anupama. They have not been nominated even once. But Amit is too much in love with his girlfriend Neeru. But see the coincidence here, even Rakhi is called Neeru at home. Taking about Aryan and Anupama, she said that Anupama doesn't love Aryan although he is very serious about her. She also said Roopali is crazy about Ravi and is trying everything to attract him. Rakhi dances her way to the door: As we're aware, four contestants were nominated this time—Ravi, Carol, Ragini and Rakhi. Early in the morning, we saw everybody busy packing their stuff. Rakhi woke up early, did her packing and make-up and got ready for the eviction ritual. All the four nominees were sitting on the couch when Arshad asked Rakhi, do you trust your fans? Rakhi burst into tears saying, she just wanted to get out of the house. She missed her dance sessions and was tired of eating yellow dal and rice. She wanted to be a free bird. Arshad first played pranks with Ravi and Carol and told them that they were safe. In the end Ragini and Rakhi were left. Arshad spoke to their parents, who were sitting in the audience, watching the show anxiously. Rakhi's mother and boyfriend Abhishek said they wanted her to stay in the house for some more time and entertain the audience. Ragini's parents were proud that their daughter was a star now. In the end, when Arshad announced that Ragini could stay in the house, an elated Rakhi threw her hands up in the air. She tried her best to hide her disappointment, but yeh audience to audience hain na dear? We could see the sorrow in her smile. She requested Bigg Boss to play a dance number and danced with everybody. Finally she was in tears as she hugged Roopali and Anupama. Everybody stood there in disbelief as she walked away with her bags, trying to look happy. Amit ko gussa kyon ata hain? The angry young man of the house is getting angrier day by day. Kya bahar jane ka waqt aa gaya Amit? Take the case when Ragini offered him kheer. Amit refused to eat and all Ragini said was—you're so stubborn. Bus, aur kya? Amit was so furious that he threw things from the table on the floor. "Mujhe naheen khana, kya kar legi who?" Cool man, tumhara waqt bhi ayega. Next, Rahul commented that the girls were good for nothing. They were very lazy and refused to work. "Go and peep into their toilets, you'll faint," said Rahul.

Ravi planning a vacation Arshad asked Ravi: what is the first thing you would do if thrown out? He said he just wanted to go for a vacation to Goa with his entire family. He was missing them a lot. Oh really Ravi? Then why were you so horrified when Arshad played a prank on you and announced your name for eviction? Arre bhai, Roopali aur Carol bhi to hain na Bigg Boss house mein... you'll miss them in Goa na?

Looking back at the days we spent with Rakhi

Rakhi's beauty parlour: Day 24—She is a real performer. Never gives up a single chance of displaying her talent. Par yeh to hadd ho gayi! Rakhi was applying cream on her face when she suddenly noticed the camera. Bus aur kya! She immediately began telling the audience about the secret behind her great looks: "Apply the cream like this… and then wash it off with warm water… err… well, we just have cold water here... see how beautiful my skin is." Great show Rakhi, keep it up! Aryan the actor: Day 25—Aryan is an opportunist. He never lets go of a chance to either flirt or flaunt his acting skills. While everybody was busy making furniture he started enacting Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge: "Hey senorita, tum apni saari zindage kisi anjaani aadmi ke saath guzar dogi." He was really good at it. Roopali seems to be his newfound fan and Anupama was blushing a rosy pink. Deepak and his dream cake: Day 27—Deepak Tijori seems to be confused. Bhojpuri film banaye ya phir cake? Well, he was sitting at the dining table with everybody and asked Carol to teach him how to make a cake. He wishes to make one for everyone. The others seemed to be terrified by the thought. Well, good thought Deepak... par aapko to pyaz kaantna bhi naheen ata. Then making a cake is too great a target, don't you think so? Disco at the swimming pool: Day 27—Anupama and Aryan were at the swimming pool when Aryan started singing the number Dancing in the dark. He was not bad at it, but then he started dancing as well. Deepak seemed to be inspired by his energy and joined him. Deepak thodi exercise kar loge to sehat bani rahegi aapki! Girls just wanna have fun: Day 28—The girls were doing some time pass in their room. Ek titli, anek titliyan Roopali sang in a childish voice. Rakhi joined in with Ek bangla bane nyara. Next in line was the Close-Up jingle, Kya aap Close Up karte hain? All the girls burst out laughing as Rakhi displayed her teeth and acted as a model for Close-Up. Kya chal raha hain? Sometimes they're fighting and the next moment they're singing together. Ladkiyon ka kuch samajh mein naheen ata! In the evening, the entire gang was at the swimming pool, standing in a line and dancing. Aryan sang Kya tumne kisi ko dil diya? Arre ha re baba, we know tumne is show pe apna dil diya, so? Rakhi was at her best, swinging and dancing while Anupama stood beside Aryan with pride—dekho mera wala kitna achcha gata hain. The dreadful day is back: Day 29—Yet another eviction day is here. Bigg Boss started the day with the song Ruk jana naheen tu kabhi haar ke. An ideal song for the moment since all the contestants were quite tensed—this time there were four nominees. Bigg Boss ordered all the nominees to pack their personal belongings. At 9 a.m. we saw Anupama and Roopali helping Rakhi pack her bag. In the boy's room, Amit was helping Ravi out with the packing. Rakhi looked a little lost, as if she was wondering what lay ahead for her. She put on her make up carefully, as if she was getting ready for a big battle. Rakhi can't believe she's evicted: "I don't believe I am going" said Rakhi in disbelief as she moved out with her bags. She hugged everyone. "Go and have Chinese food outside," said Roopali. Everybody stood there silently watching Rakhi walk away. Anupama consoled the girls saying, "She wanted to go, she told me yesterday. Everybody else wanted to stay back except for her." Ragini stood there watching Rakhi vanish behind the door. Bye Rakhi. Anupama thinks it's her turn to go now: Kya yaar, its hardly an hour since Rakhi left the house and Anupama is back at it again. She cribbed to Aryan, "Carol has too much attitude, and she doesn't even recognise my presence." She told him that she wanted to prepare him because she could be the next person to be evicted. Aryan listened to her quietly as she talked about the group of five—Rahul, Deepak, Amit, Ravi and Carol getting stronger as Rakhi is out. Roopali is a typical Bharatiya nari: Now that the big players have gone, the smaller ones are gaining power. Roopali was sitting on the veranda along with Ragini, bitching about Anupama. She thought Anupama was always acting about being sensitive, but actually she was taking poor Aryan for a ride. Aryan is a nice guy, but is behaving like a sick puppy, ready to do whatever she says. He is hopelessly in love with her.

She also said that Anupama had no respect for Indian culture because she was openly romancing Aryan. Arre yaar Roopali yeh zyada ho gaya, now that you're playing the typical bhartiya nari, giving foot massage to the guys, why do you expect the same from others?

Oh no! It is Rakhi. So the volatile Ms Sawant finally paid for her dramatic ways by being handed an eviction notice out of the Bigg Boss house.
With bitchy Kashmeera, temperamental Bobby and item girl Rakhi being voted out of the game, it is doubtless going to be a much more mellow show. Viewers will not have much to look forward to except the unpredictable romance between Aryan and Anupama.
Although, with the way things are going between the two, we would be lucky to get any interesting tidbits by the time the stipulated three months come to an end.
True to her outspoken nature, Rakhi made some big statements the moment she left the house. Apparently, Anupama isn't as naive as she looks, and is just manipulating Aryan on the show.
So, is the talk of Aryan being her 'best friend' on the show, and all the visibly cozy vibes between the two a sham? Rakhi thinks so, saying that Anupama told her so in one of their heart-to-heart talks.
We wonder who to trust in this game of kiss and tell. It certainly is a place where everyone needs to watch their backs all the time.
Flirtatious Aryan, though, seems oblivious to the supposed machinations of Anupama. Clearly besotted by her pouty tantrums and tears, our brawny leading man continues to be serious about a future with Anupama after leaving the house, as he shows in tonight's episode. All the best, Aryan!
Amit, on the other hand, seems thoroughly confused about his loyalties. Sometimes quarrelling and at other times making up, this is one bemusing television starlet.
This time, he decides to get hold of Ravi Kissen and sow seeds of doubt in his mind about Deepak and Rahul's increasing loyalty towards each other.
But we think a closeness between Rahul and Deepak is a given, considering they starred together eons ago in the only big hit of their solo film careers — Aashiqi. Point to be noted, isn't it?
Amit, not one to let up easily, also warns Ravi about Rahul's attitude towards the other boys in the house, while also instigating him against Aryan.
He lets on that he thinks it is Aryan who passes information to the girls. Really, Sherlock?!
