Part 17.

YaY!!! Thank you jiju!!! Khushi and Lavanya screamed together in excitement on receiving the money in exchange of the shoes.

Khushi you rock tumne Nannav ko hara diya ..Nk said coming towards her.. exactly .. you defeated chote khushi congratulations Anjali hugged her in excitement!

All of them were excited as Khushi had got the shoes in the end..and had defeated Arnav.. the wedding ceremony was smoothly over and everyone headed for food..

Arnav all this while only smiled ..and accepted his defeat!

Khushi wondered why Arnav hadn't come and told everyone that she had also cheated .. she giigled as she remembered how she faked that she was hurt while chasing Arnav for the shoes and Arnav had actually left the shoes and had come running to help her only to realize that Khushi was faking it..but before he could react Khushi was already down with the shoes.

Crazy! Arnav chuckled as he looked at her running ..

He had gladly accepted his defeat so that she would be happy ..and deep down he knew if she was happy then he would be happy too..!!!

Thankss!! He heard Khushi..as she came next to him ..

For what? He asked

For not telling anyone that I also cheated she said smiling sheepishly!

Actually you know what..if you see neither did I win or neither did you lose! We both cheated!! She said smiling..

Right! He said soo..since you already got your money..its my turn now..he said smirking!

Your turn?? She asked confused

Yess..as you said we both cheated..and as per the bet you got your money..soo..now you have to do as I say'

Khushi hesitated for a bit, but then she was Khushi Kumari Gupta after all..okay! she said confidently..

I like your confidence..he said smiling..

Soo..what do I have to do??

Not now ..ill tell you when the time comes ! he smirked and started walking away..

Khushi's heartbeat increased thinking of what he could make her do.. Laad Governor she muttered ..

Btw..tum cheating kaafi achchi kar leti ho.. he said ..and was about to go..when he heard her say .. aap bhi kuch kam nai hai..

When did I cheat ??? Arnav asked innocently..

Hawww..Khushi said.. what was that you did in front of anyone?

What? He asked pretending he dint understand what she was saying..

Arnavji..in front of everyone you..she stopped.. too embaressed to complete her sentence she quickly looked down..

Yeah..tell me what did I do?? he said thouroughly enjoying!!

You very well know what you did.. Khushi said faking anger, pushed him aside and walked away!

The wedding was done smoothly..payal was now Mrs. Payal Akash Singh Raizada .. all the guests and relatives had gone back to their hotels. Payal's griha pravesh and the rasams that followed would be done at Shantivan..

After a lot of teasing Akash was finally sent inside his room to spend his first night.

All the others also retired after the immensely tiring day.

The next day the Gupta's were leaving in the morning along with lavanya while the Raizada's were to leave in the evening for Shantivan.

- The next day -

Everyone was up early..

Arnav was pacing the length of his room worried that the Gupta's would leave in some time ..well, particularly worried that Khushi would be leaving! And they would be no more staying together!!!!

Why am I soo..restless?? ..he ran his hand through his hair..

The wedding is done obviously we all have to go back!! He tried to calm himself down!

Well, the scene in Khushi's room was no different except that she wasn't walking instead fiddling with her dupatta and chewing her lower lip!!

I wish this day would not come..she said sadly..she dint want to go back.. she enjoyed her stay of one month with di , nani, akash jiju, mami,mama, shyam jiju..she would definitely miss all of them ..and of course Arnavji she thought..the thought itself got her blushing.. she looked at her watch and gasped..hay devi maiyaan am late buaji will kill me.. she ran got her bag..and went down!

All of them were done with breakfast.. and the Gupta's were to leave..and Khushi and Arnav both were dreading this moment.!

Am really gonna miss you di..khushi sad sadly and hugged her..awww ill miss you too..anjali said caressing her hair.!

Khushi took blessings from nani, mama n mami..

Jiju please take care of my jiji Khushi said crying and hugged payal and akash both!

Don't worry Akash said and forced her to smile.. Garima, buaji and payal too..got teary.

Khushiji ..ill miss ya loadzz NK said getting emotional.. you'll miss me or lavanya hun, Khushi asked teasingly!

Lavanya and Nk hugged for the nth time ..

Khushi had met everyone except Arnav .. she went to him.. she dint know what to say but she wanted to talk to him..for the last time before she left!

Arnav saw her coming towards him.. as expected he too..dint know what to say or do..?

Khushi smiled a little at him..

Both of them stared at each other but dint say a word. .finally Khushi broke the ice and said bye .. this was the last thing he wanted to hear! He too..said bye and tried to smile a bit. She wished he would say something more..anything she desperately wanted him to say something..she turned around to go..when she heard him call out..

Khushi..he said

She turned in a jiffy!

Take care! .. he said and smiled genuinely this time..

Khushi was filled with joy.. you too Arnavji...she said and flashing her brightest smile at him.!

Arnav was more than happy to see her smiling like that..and that too for him!

Both of them suddenly felt relaxed and ease.

The Gupta's bid adieu .. Khushi turned to see Arnav for one last time.. she found him looking at her.. she quickly waved bye to him..and sat in the car with her parents , buaji and lavanya!

Arnav 's heart lept in joy .. she had turned to see him for the last time..a smile broke out on his face..while her name escaped his lips.. Khushi he said and sighed.!
