What do u feel abt this movie ??I think its one of the best love triangles ever ! The music is still considered classic !

saajan was one of the worst movies. a girl falls for someone she has never met, not even seen or interacted. then someone claims to be that guy n she starts dating him. but wait, he is not her dream man. n she is falling for him. then she finds out, her friend n her boyfriend's bro is her dream man. so she dumps her boyfriend n goes with her dream man. what a shitty script. 🤢 won't the girl be confused if she should go for her dream man or the one she is falling for?

if i were madhuri, i would have been so pissed off with both the guys, that i would have slapped them both n walked away!!

songs were ok.

but madhuri was indeed confused at the end ! Its just sallu sacrificed his love and reunited her with sanjay 😆

i loved the smile salman gives in the end...he was heartbroken for loosing his love but then a smile of victory that he made his love eternal by sacrficing his love for her happiness...a great acting by salman those days

was she 5yr old kid that salman asked her to go to sanjay n she had no other choice but to go to him?

salman was no less. claimed to be someone else...didn confess who he actually was till very end. n ultimately he confessed coz he found out his brother is his gf's dream man. not bcoz he wanted to come clean with the girl.

n sanjay advises salman to pose as that poet n woo her. wow..what an idea. like this lie can cover salman's identity till eternity.

so either way, both the guys were wrong. madhuri's character should have left them both. they didn deserve her.

well both the guys made madhuri their private property...both will making decisions for her...and never care a damn to ask what she wants...what she desires...both are jerks in my eyes...to be honest madhuri should leave both...but then the songs were touching...

Bollywood movies rarely develop love triangles properly. They never go deep into exploring a character's feeling or turmoil. It's okay if the movie leaves with some unanswered questions for audience to ponder over, but at some points, it is necessary to show what in the world is a character thinking (esp. if it's a lead character) or the reason behind their actions ...if not with his/her inner thoughts than atleast through other ways. If the audience isn't included in that thought process, it becomes really hard to feel sympathy/hate/love or whatever emotion we are supposed to experience for that certain character!

Such is the case with Madhuri's character here...did she not fall in love with Salman? Did she not feel him and the person she supposedly loved are different in nature? Why wasn't she confused when she find out about Sanjay? It's not about choosing if she wants to go with Sallu or Sanju...it's about her messed up feelings. Who did she really love? That's something they should have spent some time over. But, then again, most of the Bollywood films (the famous ones) aren't usually known for their depth.
