I think Swami could have just shown his SIU ID-card to the hotel manager and would have got the permission to see the video footage. I do not think all that drama in the hotel lobby was required.

In 2612 also Randeep while searching for Ritika had used his ID card to see the video footage.

Totally agreed with u.Infact it was a weak plot of yday episode.How come a CCTV Room type imp room was so casually maintained by d hotel???

But as u said it was very well shown in 2612 where Randeep made d manager to give d footage as it was needed 4 nation's security.

The person who was disguised as a taxi driver was a SIU agent. If the SIU has stopped supporting them then how come he was there? Moreover 'SIU has stopped supporting them' does not mean that they have taken their ID's away.
