to all insians living in india and to all NRIs, which includes me! it pains me to accept that i have become more singaporean than indian after living here for many years! but i have learnt much more about india or for that matter any place else, thing i can never learrn from my textbook through the forum! i like i to thank everyone!

hope this independance lasts forever and is really appreciated!

Interesting discussion Mia,Evee,LT and Selina...I'm glad that we all share a similar kind of thought proccess...Thankfully for me, I did not have to face such things as Indians being snobs and trying to avoid you...The group that I socialise with have all kinds of ethnic groups...We have some Indians,Pakistanis White Americans,African Americans,Hispanics and Arabs!

But what I have observed is that we all can keep our culture values and beliefs and still share a great bond with all the other groups...In fact people who respect their own cultures only get most respected by other ethnic groups...I can mingle very well with all the ethnic groups and so my other desi friends... 😊

I have a lot to say on this subject, may be some other day! 😳 ...In fact I was not supposed to be here now as I am on a vacation from IF 😆 😭

Chalo my dear friends have fun...And of course my Friends from Pakistan, belated Happy Independence Day to you all too... 😊

Lets salute all those freedom fighters because of whom, today we are able to sit back like this and have all these cool discussions!
