I agree. I relate everything to India too. All my future plans have to do with India. Just 10 more years, and I'm moving back. I love India too much, to live anywhere else.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder

now i know that that quote means 😊

Now that I have experienced both places, I feel that there is an "apna pan" in India you can't get anywhere else.

I think that comes with differece in culture. I can never drink beer and smoke like my friends do (Though I will hold a bottle to not look odd, but I just sip it once every 30 minutes😆). I have a hard time mixing in with them bcoz of these little things. I feel like a misfit. 😕 I miss India soo much that time😭

" You can talk like an American, eat like an American, walk like an American and behave like an American. But you can never Be an American. When you get tired of getting all the materialistic pleasuers, come back to India. Come Home. We'll welcome you with open arms"

That is very very very true. You might not be welcome anywhere else, but you will always be welcome in your homeland.

I get that feeling too often. Like I dont belong here, I agree, America has a mix of every culture and everything, but it can never be India.
