At a dhaba everything is fair game. 😆
I mean you had Navneet trying to steal blue teams customers rather than going to the road and pulling them in. And sometimes factors other than best cooked food influence the business for the day.
The red team also made the mistake of under-pricing their menu. After Kunal told them about this they went back and changed their prices...at first I thought that was not fair either...but again if this was a real life situation prices and menus can and do change.
Bottom line was that the team who'd collect more money would win...and that was the blue team. What I didn't like was that in the end everyone was literally begging for tips and telling customers to empty their wallets...especially the blue team...and customers were complying...😲. Made me wonder if these customers were even real or just paid by SP to make an appearance.

Even i was wondering the same. Also i dint like the way Happy was pretending that Sambhar is soup. Are they implying that south indians dont know how to make soup or that punjabis dont know wats is real soup. This Season seems 2 b the most boring & unimaginative 😕

Last season was top class!

I don't think so. You have to understand that the punjabis like very spicy clear soups. In winter you will see the clear chicken soup is sold on the streets like hot cakes. The vendors add green chilli in vinegar for the spice. At home, whenever the kadhi( made from besan and yoghurt) is cooked, people like to take the clear top layer once it starts boiling and just have it like a soup, when any masala curry is cooked, many Punjabis take the curry with no vegetable or anything and drink it like a soup. It is a great filler and an appetizer. I think what Happy did was clever. He knew this would be liked by the customer and so he sold. During my college days we never had sambar/dosa/idli/vada without ketchup. My south friends laughed when they came to know about it. When I went to Kerela trip, I asked for dosas with potato filling and ketchup. They refused and gave me the closest they had and that was with onion filling. So don;t think that punjabis would literally think that sambar is a soup but at the same time it is a relishing spicy soup like meal for the Northerners.
