While some horrendous unspeakable acts are being committed on this Mother Earth (Vasundhara) of ours, especially in recent weeks / months, let's join hands on this Earth Day to make our Mother Earth a better place to live in!

Yaar, have very little to no knowledge of English songs, except the most popular ones like BGs, B Streisand, Julie Andrews, Anne Murray, Beatles, old ones like Sinatra, Abbas, Michael Jackson, Neil Diamond, Patsy Kline, Carol King, you get the pic!

Like the poem and so apt. (missed commenting on your post coz I was emotional about this Day coz growing up mother used to tell us the real reason why there are so many natural disasters in our otherwise beautiful universe. She said ~ whenever the weight of the sins committed by the people of this world becomes unbearably heavy, the Mother Earth cannot take that weight and the result, as a result, is all these disasters happening. So only bringing peace thru meditation etc seems to be the only way out to bring harmony, balance, so the environment is no more like we witness today on our Mother Earth.

Here on local 24/7 radio, "Mere desh ki dharti" got the highest # of callers requesting to play the song..

Just wanted to share.

Belated Earth day 😊

Every individual should keep their cities clean not waste energies like electricity and water extravagantly

The frequent natural disasters are a way to make us feel God is not happy with us and how we are treating our motherland

Its heartbreaking to read about natural calamaties every day ..every single day there is a news like that.
