Is Gauri love for Shiv realistic??????

I dont understand Gauri behavior. Shiv tortured her from the start and sure he was nice to her after the jungle scene and with her father he planned to expose devika. But does that erase what he has done in the past. She is deeply now in love with him, all the dialogues she says they are sweet and all but would you tell that to someone who has told you before they hate you ten times a day. It would have been more reasonable to show Gauri understanding Shiv, and being the dutiful wife. But to be in love with him so much, seems like out of the blue and not realistic. Friendship first, Love should have happend later on. Shiv is more realistic atleast. I mean he is not spilling romantic dialogues as if there is no tomorrow.

I would have loved to see Shiv and Gauri as friends. Those would have been some fun episodes. They making compromises and slowly developing love. They should fall in love with each other at the same time, now that would have been realistic to watch and you dont feel sorry for the other.

Hmm..Agree with you to an extent...But then I guess that is the basic different between a man and a woman..

A few good deeds, a little concern for ur feelings and getting upset over something that troubles you...is something to make a woman happy...for which she will be fida for life...

But for a man these little things dont matter as much as they do for a woman..

And the trusting, innocent and true person that Gauri is..she fell for this goodness in Shiv..and thats why its love for her..
So in a way I do understand this aspect of her character 😊

i guess you are right women are too emotionally attached. but gauri dialogues are so love driven i wish there was some purpose to her love. i mean she says she doesnt love shashank or doesnt know if she did, how can she not, when the guy practically was her dream man. she even said herself that he had all the qualities she wanted in a husband. shiv has all the qualities she detests, he drinks and parties, not to mention he told her to drink beer, bet on her like a toy, used her emotionally to get what he wanted and all of a sudden he is the love of her life. 😆

I definetly agree that they should have shown them being friends first. I feel sorry for Gauri since Shiv is not at that lovey place where she is and it's horrible to have one sided love. I think Gauri should stop saying I luv u to Shiv sooo much. I know I am getting very annoyed because I don't think any self-respecting women would say it more then once especially when the other significant does not feel the same way about them. 😡 😡

Well Maragatham, Gauri set herself up for a harsh reality when she made up her mind in the park to get married to Shiv. And not just getting married to Shiv for a lame reason but she vowed to live it thru. She did not find herself faling in love for Shiv when she sat in the mandap. But she did it with an open mind and accepting the fact that there is no love between them and she has to work her way to make the marriage successful. So her positive attitude and open mindedness helped her see the positive side of Shiv that made her fall in love for him.

Whereas Shiv did not sit in the manap unlike Gauri with a positive attitude and open mind. After the forest episode, at least he doesn't hate her anymore? Now Shiv is begining to show the signs of open mindedness towards Gauri and he is begining to like her and do anything to protect her...

So it is not unnatural for Gauri to fall in love with Shiv.

i think its real. shiv changed his feelings towards her and as soon as she noticed it she started loving him. 😳

Gauri saw shiv hating her and not caring for her.But after the jungle incident and when he exposed devika ,she thought he did all these to save his marriage,though she knows that he does not love him.She is understanding him.she wants to make this marriage work ,so she is taking the first step towards,becaz somewhere she is sure that shiv will love her.

As I was watching the videos, I felt the same way..it seemed too soon!! It would have been nice to see attraction and understanding first before love came into the picture! Show some cute scenes of their being shy with each other and slowly coming to accept their marriage before accepting the love....but hey...love's better than hate any day...so i guess i won't be complaining much 😛 😆

i think its realistic cuz she realized her affection for him when shiv was almost gonna get shot......and i think at that point she was very vulnerable cuz shashank left her aur uske dil ko thes pahuchi thi........but i think they had to show the love angle fast cuz iqbals leaving and the development of love would be hard to show again with an entirely different person playing the character of shiv.......it would be eaaier to show the new person already in love.......thats just my personal opinion.....naina

hay i do agree in a way but gauri is so loved up she may not even have realised that she was so open with it and maybe she is portayed that way that when she will get that final shock it will be extreme. its a tough life.
