The morning Arjun was supposed to be back was a rush. Everyone running from here to there, organising files, completing pending work and re-checking it and trying to make the place Arjun-ishtyle! No one wanted to hear a lecture from Arjun first day he was back! By 10 am, everything was done. And the staff was buzy with their routine. Arjun entered the office and as usual, everyone who passed him wished him a good-morning. And he replied back or smiled slightly, shocking his juniors. It took a good 2 minutes for anyone who passed or wished him, to recover the shock of having a response. Arjun, out of habit, first went straight into his cabin to wait for Riya, who brought him his cutting chai, according to the routine. He started reading a file while waiting for her to show up. Half an hour later, at 10:30, someone knocked on Arjun's door. He thought that it might be Riya so he said, "come in!" Shree came in and gave Arjun a file on which he needed Arjun's signatures. The knock on the door was heard a second time and Arjun again called out, "come in!" A young boy of about 12 years, came in and kept Arjun's chai on the desk. Surprised, Arjun asked him, "ye kya?"

"Saab, aapki chai," the boy replied.

"Tum kyun laye? Riya kahan hai?" asked an annoyed Arjun. He had been dying to see her and had his hopes set on the time when she would bring his chai.

"Vo didi ne kaha k onhe kuch kaam hai to main khud de aaon," the boy replied.

This answer surprised and annoyed Arjun to hell. Even Shree was surprised but then understood the meaning of everything perfectly. He had been observing Riya from some time and was confused about the way she had been behaving. He had been giving her time to come and share her problems with him herself but now, it was about time he asked her himself. He was about to ask her after going out of Arjun's cabin but the young boy's talk had fixed all the puzzle pieces in Shree's mind perfectly. Arjun, on the other hand, was completely unaware of this part of the truth. His temper rose and it was visible on his face. For a moment, he forgot everything and clutched the pen in his hand harder. Shree saw this and asked the boy to go. After he left, Shree went to Arjun and said, "sir, main ye file baad mein le loonga." Saying this, he left Arjun alone.

The way Riya was avoiding Arjun was very serious. If, to stay away from him, Riya had to do this, then it was a very urgent matter. Shree knew that if Riya was avoiding Arjun, then her feeling must go really deep. He knew tthat avoiding Arjun was the last thing Riya would want. She couldn't bear to stay away from him. Not being with him, not supporting him, not making sure of his well-being would hurt Riya more than she would tell him. It would kill her! And he would rather die than let anything hurt his Ri. And the only way to remove her heart-ache was to unite them. But did Arjun feel anything for Riya? He thought back on all happenings since Sikandar's encounter. This time, focusing on Arjun. He thought hard and then snapped his eyes open. YES! it was a huge, fat big yes! Now he just need confirmation. Who could give it to him? He had to do something. But he needed help. Who? Who could help him? "YES! Of course! Him! Maine ye pehle kyun nahi socha?" Thinking this, Shree sprinted to Sameer's office. Having looked up information on Arjun and Sameer both during his college days, he had unearthed the truth that these two had been best buddies. And now, since Arjun was in hospital in Goa, their friendship, which had been buried, had resurfaced. If anyone knew about Arjun's heart, it would be Sameer! He knocked on the door and went in after the answer.

"sir, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai. But please, kuch bolne se pehle meri baat sun lijiega. Sir, mujhe aapki madat chahiye." Shree said. His voice held a lot of confidence and Sameer noted it. He knew that now, it wasn't his subordinate talking. It was Shreekant Sen! But which one?

"bolo Shree!" Sameer said, looking up.

"Sir,mujhe ek sawaal ka jawaab chahiye! Please sirf sach bolna. Ye meri dost ki zindagi ka sawaal hai. Kya Arjun sir Riya k liye kuch bhi feel karte hain?" Shree came straight to the point.

'Ah! It was the friend Shree!' Sameer thought. "Wow! You're something else Shree! Tum meri team k tech-expert k roop mein to bahut darte ho. Mujhe nahi pata tha k oske neeche itna confident Shree bhi hai! Coming to your question, I'm glad you asked. Main bhi tumse issi baare mein kuch baat karna chahta tha. Rahi Arjun ki baat to haan.. haan vo Riya k liye kuch feel karta hai! Infact, bahut kuch feel karta hai. Vo Riya se pyaar karta hai, aur isse accept bhi kar chuka hai. Osne khud mujhse kal ya kaha! But Riya?"

Shree heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank god! Aapko pata nahi sir k aapne meri kitni madat ki hai. Aap Riya k baare mein pooch rahe hain? Isn't it obvious?"

"To vo Arjun ko ignore kyun kar rahi hai?" Sameer asked.

Shree told him the whole story. "oh! To ye baat hai! Ye Riya bhi na..!" Sameer said and shook his head and continued, "ab kya karein?"

"main kuch sochta hoon sir. but pehle Arjun sir ko bhi bata dein? Kahin vo suspence se paagal na ho jayein!" Shree said.

"haan chalo!" Sameer says. They both go to Arjun's cabin to find him lost. They talk to him and tell him the whole story. He heaves a sigh of relief and his face brightens up. "To ab kya karein?" he asks Sameer and Shree.

"mere paas ek plan hai!" Shree says and tells them.

"I have a feeling this will work!" Sameer says.

"It HAS to work Sam! WE will make it work!" Arjun says determined!
