Oh dear you should not have used the word "Abusive" here. Apparently, a lot of people do not know what that word really means and would start a pointless discussion creating an unnecessary ruckus on your post.

Apart from that, nice post. I agree with you. But I think the CVs themselves have gone too far in butchering RK's character to show an actual redemption. At this point, I see no reason as to why Madhu should forgive him at all. Love doesn't mean you become weak in the presence of your lover and take all his crap just so he doesn't hurt himself. Obsession is never good in any relationship. I find a fresh change in the show in the form of Sultan so I am going to stick around and watch his scenes until he CVs figure out a way to show an ACTUAL story instead of RK's dance performances. Otherwise, Goodbye to Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon that was once a unique show!

Honestly, if they want to live in their fantasy world, they are welcome to. It doesn't change the reality of what his character is doing. Just because the actor is good looking and your favorite, doesn't mean you should blindly accept the character he is portraying, automatically denying any of that characters faults. I like VD, i think he's doing a great job with his acting, but if his character is a douche bag, I will admit it. They can bash me all they want, and they can argue all they want, they will be wasting their time, because in the end, i'm not about to kill my brain trying to explain to them something they don't want to see. I'll just reply to them with a dictionary definition of the word, and they can do with that what they will.

Yeah, honestly, I don't know how RK can possibly redeem himself at this point. Sultan is a good character, but I am still reluctant to accept him and Madhu as a couple. Augh, I hate that though, because realistically, despite the fact that he's some gangster, he would be the better option. And LOOOL, yeah, an actual story line rather than RK breaking into a dance randomly. Since i've given this show so much of my time at this point, I'm going to see how it ends. But i'll probably start to read updates once a week or something if this show doesn't look like it's gong anywhere in a week or two. I have this problem that, when I start something, I need to watch most of it to the end, no matter how much I have to torture or agonize myself in the process. Its a bad habit, or a good one, depending on the situation.

I completely agree with you. I like VD too, but that in no way means I'd start blindly worshiping his character. He is acting like a psychopath right now and I would say it openly because it doesn't change the fact that he's being a complete jerk.

Yes the Gangster part sure does put people off. But then again, it's fiction. And people here are always nagging to keep reel and real life separate. So in reel life, a girl can end up with a Gangster too right? I mean, if in the fiction world, a human can end up with a Vampire, Werewolf or a Zombie, why can't a girl end up with a Gangster too? 😉😆 . Because frankly, I find much more scope in an Ordinary Girl meets Gangster theme than an Ordinary Girl meets Superstar theme, story wise. A lot of aspects to their relationship, characters and hurdles could be shown. Anyway it all comes down to the CVs.

Its so true.. after waiting and waiting for RK and his antics to get better.. I fell in love with Sultan.. He transformed.. I guess the CVs wanted us to wait for his- Sultan's- transformation.

but like someone else mentioned on one of the other topics.. the writers cannot risk pairing up Sulbala coz then they'd be an easy target for all the psychotic Rishbala fans.

this topic has been discussed over n over again on here and it will be continued till Sultan really says "alvida" -exits the show (I don't want it.. but it will happen).

And RK's repulsive behavior has been tagged cute, loving, and what not... majority feels it is "normal" for him to employ such "techniques" to "control his crazy wife and set her right.."... they r in love.. its their private life.. they can do whatever.. madhu was not exactly revolting... gawsssh.. I can go on forever with the EXCUSES they have in store to Justify RK's behavior...

I will wait for the truth and justice to come knocking at RK's door ONE day.. until then I will WAIT... 🤢

Ive done that so many times, even posted a list of symptoms shown by pychopaths, examples of abuse (that post got shut down) Makes no difference. And that is what I find disturbing...that how can rk be shown to redeem himself after its gone this far...i think the only think left now is rape, What kind of a msg is it sending out if it ends with rk and madhu togather. Already the underlying theme/vein of this serial is going way over the heads of a lot of people. So many here already behaving as if they've been labotomized.

I will quite watching if Madhu gives RK another chance tmrw without any other motive. He is inredeemable at this point.DVD look great together and have great chemistry but I will not tolerate this regressive crap of a heroine that keeps going back to her abuser just for them. I AM A HUGE DD fan but it isnt worth puttiing up with this torture. They wanted to create conflict they could have created a misunderstand at least RK would have been redeemable. Who is he to even question Madhu after what he did to which why I totally see why you say Sultan shouldnt have been introduced in the midst of the revenge crap. He is the one honorable character in the show. Madhu has lost all her self-respect and become so weak in front of RK and RK just continues to butcher himself further.
