Maan's POV

Picking a coke can from the fridge and a bowl filled with crisps i sat before my computer clicking YouTube link. Since the day of confrontation with Geet i have been doing the same thing. That was the day when i thought i should tell Geet about what we planned and then confess that i like her and we should have a fresh start and that was the same day when she found out that i was playing around. I can never blame her for slapping me or being mad at me. I don't want to justify my acts as i know i was wrong.

I was sad that some b**** made me a laughing stock and what i did to Geet was same if not more. I had had many girls as friends but what i shared with Geet was special and i realized that only when we were on out date and i was all ready to fight for her safety. I have always been a selfish person and for me to put someone before me was a huge thing. I have never fought for my brother but i fought for her. I know my feelings for her were different and our interactions the next week proved it right. I just loved spending time with her. My mornings were incomplete without her calls and every now and then we used to send texts. It was as if we were giving live commentary of each others' life.

When she found out the truth a part of me was happy that she isn't in dark no more as er reaction would have been same or worse if i had told her by myself that evening .I don't believe in sulking and the very next day i began the action. I re read Geet's stories and i know she loves cheesy romance though it gives me puking feeling.

I typed "REET HUI SABSE PARAYI EPISODE-302" in the search box. That is wired but true. I know what she likes and i m just trying to get acquainted to what she likes. Damn i swear the show sucks i have no clue why she likes it. The hero was quiet hot but dude i have better body. I can easily beat him. Initially i was so embarrassed to even to type the title. I closed all the windows and door. A couple of times when someone entered i switched on the monitor in fear of getting caught. God people will think i m watching po**. Top of it the show had 400 episodes. Are you kidding me its freaking 400. The show was lame it didn't have any story. I mean which man wants to marry his younger brother's pregnant wife. Where is our culture?!! The show didn't have anything worth watching the heroine looked cute but no way in hell i m checking her out when i have big task in my bag to woo Geet.

I completed 400 episodes in five and a half days. Wonder how? Well fast forward eye locks, fights, songs and where that dude does exercise shirtless then the longest episode is twelve minutes. There was couple of episode i skipped because they had nothing but falling and catching. Why would girls like it? Showing another girl a chicken afraid even of dark and dependant on her boss slash brother in law slash crush slash whatever. I thought women are rebels. But then if you could know what a woman things then it means the world has ended. They are complicated than life after death.

I clicked India Forums and created and account for myself. My username 'yourcharmer' good? Cool? Worse?. Who cares. I read some chapters from random stories and i couldn't help but be proud of immense talent girls have. If any guy wants to woo a girl they can just visit the site. Girls have just poured out their inner cravings in form of stories. Damn there was also some 18+ chapters i m definitely gonna read it later i should know how a woman feels and what she expects. I know a bit of pervert i know but can't help it. I wonder if Geet reads those. Ah i should see her flushed red face.

Once i was sure that i could at least get a pass mark in cheesy romance i began to plot plan B. That is when god decided to help me for all the good i had done all my life. My brother Angad was finally going to be engaged. When i insisted on looking at my to be sister in law's photo i was given a group photo of five girls. My mom pointed to a girl to the right of my SIL and told that she was my SIL's sister who they will get me married to if i agree. They must be kidding or else i m going to elope with Geet if she agrees else just kidnap her. That is when my eyes fell on the most pretty girl who was in the right corner of the photo wearing a pink sun dress and cream hat. Am i hallucinating. This can't be happening. Right?!.

" she is ?" i asked pointing at her

" she is sreeja's cousin. A year younger to you and comes from a good family. We can even get you married to her. She is pretty " my mom said

For the first time i loved my mom for talking about my marriage. Mom your wish is my command and i won't rest till i make that 'pretty girl' agree to be your daughter in law.

Now i was sure what exactly i should do. I m not a writer material but i can just put words in order to make people understand but i don't want people to understand but her. I was sure she will come to the engagement and yeah Plan C execution time.

The day of engagement damn she looked so beautiful. I just wanted to go and pull her in my embrace. I knew white was always her color and that was my favorite too. Surprise i was wearing a white full arm shirt so we matched. God would be pleased that he made a perfect couple like us.

When maya talked to her she just twitched her nose and i know she wasn't fan of her sister. Then i saw her walking to the bride's room. I saw her checking her phone and exactly five minutes later there was a comment in the story from her.

" that was well written ... i like the start ... Thanks for the PM... don't forget to PM me next time "

The comment read. Almost all comments sounded the same and i wonder if all these girls have common string their brains. Now everything in place i should just follow thing what Amaan did in the story.

Geet was sitting with some of hers and my cousins and i stood in a far distance looking at her like a love stuck puppy if it wasn't true. I wish sit with her and enjoy her talks, her complains, her tantrums she was least interested to be there. Maya spotted me staring at Geet and she whispered something in Geet's ears. Sh** i turned my back to them. I m not scared to face her its just that it won't help my plan. I want to see her black eyes go wide seeing me in surprise and not with anger.

I saw Geet walking with a plate of confetti's. The time was right. Mrs.Kapoor was coming towards her so i distracted her at right point so that she could bump into Geet but hell my girl was careful. Who the hell shows in the daily soaps that girls are fragile and would fall easily?. Dude they are attentive than anyone. I cursed my luck and was about walk away formulating alternate plan that is when God helped me for the second time. Some kids playing there made her trip and i was there at the right time to save her.

Geet's expression was worth watching when her eyes met mine. Her beautiful eyes was filled with surprise, anger , shock and may be a bit relief. She instantly stood on her foot glaring at me. I kept my hands wrapped around her waist.

" what are you doing here ? " she asked

" stalking you " i said coolly

" Maan this is not funny " she said raising her finger pointing at me.

When those kids playing there ran from one place to other they were about to bump with Geet and i pulled her towards me. This is the ONLY point where i love Kids.

" Maan you know i m mad at you. Just go away " she said
" Geet i was just preventing you from the fall. Just imagine if you had broken your limbs or bruised your face " i said

She looked at me getting in the facts i said. She nodded at me and i was still enjoying being close to her. She didn't realise how close we stood and my hands were on her waist. These things look so normal those crappy shows are complicating things.

" but i m not going to thank you " she said

" sure thing. After what i did to you i deserve to be your slave without salery " i said bowing a little.

She gave me questioning look . Of course things i say seem wired for her as she has not seen the real me. She always saw the part of Maan i wanted her to see.

" geeet " we heard a girl shriek and snapped our heads in that direction.

" oh no " Geet mumbled under her breath

Oh yeah i jumped mentally. That was maya and i know she is kind of girl who equates 2 plus 2 to 5 and seeing Geet and me in this position wasn't helping that. God i love you so much.

For those who thinks Maan is a sinner her needs to repent he should act as if he committed a murder i would say those things can never happen in my stories. I know you all are used to reading stories in IF where for just shouting at Geet and making her cry Maan hurts his himself. But this is MY story and i believe in positivity and reality. Those things will never happen. What Maan did is wrong and her will correct it in his own ways. Solution for hurting others is not hurting yourself but making them forget that something like that even happened. So My story My way Hope you don't mind it.

Oh God I m totally loving this story.The whole IF experience explained by Maan was amazing.Its fab. when U read smthng that is real and Ur own experience.
Awww our Maan had to go thru 400 epis that too in five and half days.I think all guys think of romantic daily soaps,exactly the way Maan thinks.Even my bro kept on saying why are U wathing this baseless crap.Oh lord,how cud I ever make him understand why I love it so much.

I m so happy that U r taking a positive turn to the story tho I love d dark stories also but yet totally love Maan's way of wooing Geet instead of sulking in seclusion.

I m so so loving d story.
