OMGSH YES!!!! Completely agree with you!
I couldn't stop laughing at Sanchi being ullu's chodi hui lugaai 😆
So here are my two cents (maybe more depending on how carried away I get 😛):
Bhairav/Bhairon (what exactly is his name btw?) is indeed the most consistent character of BV...the most sensible, the most reasonable, an ideal father/father figure, husband, and son in every sense...I love him! I now understand why he took such a liking to Shiv (not like others didn't 😆) but I can never forget his dialogue to Anandi "main Shiv ko dekh ke sochta hoon ke kaash woh mera beta hota, ya phir kaash mera beta uske jaisa hota" (he said something along those lines to Anandi a while back when she blasted Shiv for agreeing to marry her and what not)...those words were just beautiful and I think Bhairon sees a younger version of himself in Shiv, Shiv might even become a father just like Bhairon 😊 I do admire the fact that his character is consistent...consistently good natured, etc etc...but I think Sumitra's character is also consistent...consistently suffering from Pendulum-itis 😛
I think her and Ira are quite similar in that aspect...both are always swinging back and forth between their thoughts simply due to their immense love for their children. Sumitra can't see any good beyond Anandi and despite her son not having a clean slate, she can't bear to have him insulted among his own family members! Then there's Ira, who although can't see any good beyond Shiv and Anandi, still falls for her daughter's antics just to shut her up. Sometimes I wonder that maybe Ira falls for Sanchi's stupidity because she's a curious soul herself...remember her very first dialogue about Anandi at Circuit House (she said something about how it's so unbelievable that a family disregards their own son for the sake of their daughter-in-law..etc)...so maybe Ira has some inner doubts, OR...she thinks that the best way to maintain peace in her family is by putting an end to everyone's questions and to do that, she feels the need to answer them 😕 To some extent, Sanchi is right...they only know Anandi's side of the story...but Sanchi meri jaan, when Anandi narrated her story, Jagya was present and not once did he disagree, in fact, all the Singhs were also present and they didn't object either...so clearly, just because the story is being told by one person does not mean that it is one-sided! I think this chick is just deprived...deprived of Ranbir Kapoor movies, deprived of her social life at the hostel, deprived of a boyfriend...once her glossy life falls back into form, she'll be choomantar immediately! 😃 As for Sumitra...she just needs to stop harping about Anandi's goodness...it almost seems like she doubts it herself! I mean, if you find your daughter to be bloody brilliant, good for you...but why should everyone agree with you? And chalo, even if they do agree with you, why should they chant about it 24/7!?
Hmm...who else did you talk about...oh yeah...Jaggubhai MBBS! Of course! I dunno with him...while I think he's back on track with his redemption..I also think that he's still not as strong of a divorcee as Anandi was... I haven't seen all those episodes when they were divorced and how Anandi took it...but from the sounds of it, she came out pretty strong (strong = not in love with her ex-husband)...Jagya on the other hand is still hanging on to the mutual love that never existed, the unconditional love that was given to him but not returned by him. I liked that he gave a mahaan speech today...but something still irked me...I'm afraid that he'll just agree to marry any Tom, Dick, or Harry just to please his family, instead of really thinking through what he wants his ideal life partner to be like and looking for those qualities in the prospective brides. Simply wanting the girl to be like Anandi is utterly stupid in my opinion...Anandi is no match for him, so why does he want to end up in a crappy marriage once again?!
I think that's pretty much all I have to say for now... once again, fantastic post!
