Thanks for the ratings breakdown, Veena.
Guys, I think I may be in the minority when I say this, and I'm saying it only because I'm trying to be objective. I do wonder if IPL is to be blamed entirely for PV's ratings since Veera still holds a steady 2.9, even though it dropped from 3.1, and BALH actually increased .1 after being static for weeks before IPL even started. If a 2.9 for one and even a slight increase for another are possible within the 10:30 timeslot during IPL, then it indicates to me that maybe PV could have, at the very least, held its 1.7 from the week before. In restrospect, last week may not have been the best week storywise for PV. There has been a noticeable pattern that any weeks heavy with Ishita's scheming or Akash's grandstanding take a bit of a hit in the ratings. Even if there are really wonderful Yash-Aarti moments in-between during the week, maybe Ishita and Akash's actions leave too much of a bitter aftertaste. It's possible that the incident with the women forcing Radha to marry a random man may not have gone over well, and then later Akash stealing from the SM may not have gone over well. In addition to that, I'm unsure if many TRP viewers were ready for SP-Radha's punar vivaah so soon. So I think in terms of story and characterization, we may have had a really off week and it may have been reflected here in addition to the IPL-effect. Just my speculation. I do hope we begin to see a bit of a rebound next week, though. Hoping for the best. 😃

You have a good point. I love PV and can't imagine life without it, but there are many viewers who don't regularly follow it and watch when the story is interesting. If I didn't love PV so much, I would be disturbed with Ishita's lusting after her brother-in-law and like you said SP-Radha's PV just a month after Gayatri's death. Anyway I think CV's are going to expose Ishita's real nature to Aarti at least, since Buaji seems to already have it figured out, I think TRP's will improve then.
