Yes, he does look very hot but unfortunately in this show I wish he could act. In a 3 hour movie, especially his new supernatural/thriller movie, the action can easily overshadow his acting. But in a serial where the audience has to watch him day in and day out, acting matters more than looks. So I sincerely hope his acting gets better fast.
