Personally i feel that no character should be protected. Its fiction, this is a discussion board, so go ahead and rip apart. I was mightly impressed by your initial assertion that wishing a character dead is ok. (though how does one wish a reel character dead? Are they expected to jump off the pages of the script and commit suicide)

I thought to myself, finally a forum on IF where the mods realise that characters need to be given the third degree. Woohoo!

But then you went ahead and ruined it all by banning acronyms.

So let me get this straight-

Wishing a character dead though DEFINITELY negative is ok
Acronyms which MAY be negative are not ok

I'm sorry i cannot write any further... There is too much laughing in my head

Well, I am not sure what to say, especially in this era, where hate speech in any territory of the planet is taken seriously, but not in this forum. So Ovi can die and go to hell is acceptable, I have to applaud the new set of rules. I really hope for the sake of Mods that this new set of rules helps them in running the forum, although these lopsided rules will create more havoc than anything else in my POV, but I say Good luck!!!

What can I say; the Mods are more interested in dealing with acronyms than with hate speech!!! wow, I hope ppl of this forum are adult. One more point to ponder, by encouraging such hate speech hopefully the MOds aren't encouraging something serious that will backfire on the forum itself. I also truly hope that the Mods do make sure and mandate in no uncertain terms that members respect fellow members, which has been really lip service so far, for there are repeat offenders who are getting away with murder!!!

In conclusion I can say, since the Mods are in power, they can use it as they wish, but hopefully the power will be used wisely. Also, I just hope good sense prevail...Good Luck!!!

This forum is less an open ground to discuss opinons, more rules to stifle opinions. I have been a part of forums with WAYYY more popular actors with bigger fan following and they didnt struggle half as much as these mods ( or should I say MODERATORS :P) are. I am so puzzled

Varsha (and everyone else who uses acronyms),

Since you're so popular and obviously being read by so many people that they have to understand what you're saying, why don't you make a list of commonly used acronyms/abbreviations. The mods can then make a sticky with the list so that anyone who's reading your posts can use the list to follow what you're saying. What say mods? Obviously this is a huge issue since Varsha's using acronyms is making life difficult for a lot of people who can't understand what she's saying. So why not make their, yours and our lives easier by doing this? Varsha, you should be proud that you're being read by so many people that you have a separate rule for yourself. That is an accomplishment 😃

@Dabulls and all : There is a reason why PMs r there on forum .. u r not suppose to make PMs public .. since u r good with acronyms , u should know that full form of PM is "Private Message" ... I hope u know the definition of private ..

Next time if any PMs r distributed in public in this manner and discussed , members involved in it will b given straight ban with IP block ... no more such kind of behaviour will b allowed

And last time for everyone , Common acronyms used all over IF and social netowrking sites r allowed , but if come across any acronyms which makes no sense ... For eg "HTYW" or "TRTWrt" or "GERTWERT" .. I m sure noone got the full forms of what I wrote , so yeah such kind of weird acronyms will no more be allowed in this forum because in the name of acronyms u cannot go around bullying or bashing fan grps or characters or actors ... If members still dont listen , then we will b forced to take strict actions too ...
