A week flew by and there were nothing exciting in ETF.

Just sneaking romance between Arjun and riya and Shree trying to save them everytime they were about to get caught...

It was a fateful day that changed lives...it was a month now after ariya marriage

After having a blast at night, Arjun and reached ETF.

They were assembled in the conference hall, discussing the paper work... Arjun was as usual with his cutting chai and a pen, engrossed deep in the file. Sameer was sitting in his usual place, chotu and Shree next to him on either side, Liza next to Shree and Aisha opposite to her. Riya was next to Arjun and next to Liza...

She was busy noting things in her diary and was completely zoned out. A hair fringe was disturbing her a lot and she was trying to fix it. Suddenly, Aisha caught sight of something very interesting in her hand. Something that reflected rainbow colors every time light fell on it...

She asked

"Riya yeh tumhare haath main kya hai...???? Ring?"

This caught attention from everyone, esp three people

-Arjun, riya and Shree...

"wo...wo..."Riya franctically started looking for help at arjun.

Even he was loss at words.

Their minds were continuously thinking the possible answers...

Arjun in mind:

'riya riya...ye tu ne kya kiya?? Kaha tha maine ki ring baahar mat pehna karo...par tum ho ki... kyun pehan ke aayi????'

Riya in mind:

'haaye...ye kaise bhul gayi... durga maa mujhe bachao... na bolu to ye log nahin chodenge... bolu to Arjun aaj kaccha kha jaayenge...*she suddenly blushed and thought again* when he dooes kiss me...o sweet heaven... I just want o... RIYA. Get a grip. There is a matter in hand now.think about that...'

Shree in mind:

'odi baba...ye kya hogaya??? Riya ne ring kyun pehni... ab kya bolenge wo? Humou to ooka bachaye khaatir kaa kaa naahin karat hai.. and deej peoplj... ring kyun wears riya???? Hello hai bye bai...'

He slapped his head mentally and continued his brainy debate

'Shree, tere brain ko na telly soaps ka virus lag chukka hai. Database se delete hi nahin hoti??!! Pehle what the*beep*, ab ye... bas kar Shree... ab dekhte hai ki samjhe ya samjhau kya karrte hai??? Dammit to waise bhi unhe chodne waale nahin hai... waise tujhe kya farak padhta hai???? (another part of his brain started off) FARAK PADHTA HAI DAMMIT!!!!! COS SHE IS YOUR FRIEND'

Shree... congratulations. You have officially lost it. Great. Ek ASR yahan kam tha ki doosre ka dialogues dimaag mein ghoom rahe hai????'

Sameer, Aisha, chotu and liza were confused to no extent

Rest three were in their own world, with three amusing expressions.

Riya with a blush, Arjun with a confused yet worried look and Shree utter irritation.

Sameer Rathod coughed bringing the three from their reveries.

All snapped their eyes towards sameer and he started

"riya, Aisha ne tumse ek sawaal poocha... jawab aaj dogi ya..."

"sir wo..."

"sameer ye file pe tere signatures chahiye. Jaldi kar na..." Arjun hurriedly passed a file...

"poora padhke sign kar. Kahin koi galti na ho..." he wiped his sweat.

"Raute ye itna zaroori file nahin hai ki tum abhi de rahe ho.aur teri tabeeyat to theek hai na? you are sweating a lot..." sameer said with his tongue in cheek.

"na nahin Rathod... main theek hun...wo yahan itni garmi hai na..." he shuttered.

Shree muttered under his breath

"yahin hona tha... bola tha don't hide this but nahin... inhe to challenge jeetna hai na... ab bhugto.."

"kya kaha tumne Shree?" asked a worried liza

"kuch nahin liza... bus aisehi..." he smiled at her.

Aisha again took riya's left hand and inspected the ring.

Riya was sweating profusely

"hmmm...solitaire diamond ring. Usually ladke isse ladkiyon ko prpose karte time ya engagement mein dete hai... riya I think you have something to tell us."

"wow o... aakdon ke hisaab se 85% times ladke iss type ke rings propose karne ke liye istemaal karte hai. Magar 40% ladke engagement mein girl ko pehnate hai. Lekin in sab ke bawarjoot there are 10% girls who buy this for them selves... ufff... its so statistical..." riya spoke and broke into a wide grin and saw across the table. All were staring at her as if she had sproute another head.

"what??"

"tumne ye khareeda?"

"haan"

"kab?? Wo...wo... kal shaam ko... yeah kal shaam ko.."

"kahan se?"

'ab ye kahan se bolu?' "wo...haan chamanlal maganlal daruwala jewelers... wahan se khareeda...

Shree and Arjun sported similar looks of amusement on their faces and their mind echoed only one word-"paagal"...

"riya jab jhoot bolna nahin aaa to bolti kyun ho? Aaj subah maine tumhara account pass book dekha. Aaj tak aisa koi transaction nahin hua... ab seedhe seedhe boldo ki kisne diya..."

Riya looked at Shree and seeked for help. Even he was confused.

Arjun was about to say something

"Shree..." came a low voice from riya..

Shree was shocked and sat gaping at her. Even Arjun was shocked and he was ready to knock Shree when he heard his voice...

"wo maine riya ko...well riya ko kal shaam ko propose kiya and wo ring pehnayi..."

(his brain muttered-ek langdo ek kaani...mein ekla sayaana...arre kis kis ne sambhaloo?)
