Hey guys..!! I am Finally back with the update of this FF YAMD. Hope you guys have not forgotten where the story had ended. If you all have ,then please do make it a point that you do read the previous update. Also, it has been a long time since I have written any Fiction, so hoping that this is worth reading. Part 4: Party Invitation
Delhi International Airport:
Kushi: Haaiiee…Kithna Changa lag raha hein mera devar…
Arnav: (Staring at Kushi bit shocked) Wait…Kya thumne abhi Punjabi mein Baath ki Kushi?
Kushi: Haan tho?
Arnav: But? Thum shayd bhool gayi ho Kushi Kumari Gupta, ki thum Lucknow ki ho Punjab ki nahi.
Kushi: Tho kya hua? Arey kabhi hindi movies bhi dekh liya kijiye, tab aap bhi todi bahuth Punjabi seekh lenge.
Arnav: What do you mean? Thumara kehne ka mathlab kya hein?
Kushi: Mere kehne ka mathlab hein ki ekh tho aapko Shudh Hindi Bhi bholni nahi aathi, sirf aathi hein tho aapki Angrezi…
Arnav: Dekho, aisa nahi hein teekh hein. Mujhe bhi todi bahuth Punjabi aathi hein…
That was it, the fight had started. The two had started arguing over this silly topic of language. Aarav who stood besides Yuvi found himself completely helpless.
Aarav: Chachu, Inn dono ki yeh ladai ab pata nahi kab bandh hogi. Mein chala car mein baithne, apne Bhaiyya aur Bahbhi ko aap hi Sambhalna
Saying this Aarav ran towards where the car was parked…
Yuvi: Arey sun tho…Yeh tho Bilkul Badmaash ho gaya hein...
Arnav: Dekho Kushi, Mujhe challenge math karo. Thumhe kya lagtha hein? Sirf thumara Slaman hi Acha dance kar saktha hein?
Kushi: Haan tho iss mein galath kya hein?
Yuvi: Bas…
Both Arnav and Kushi look at Yuvraj.
Yuvi: Arey yar, aap dono aise kyu lad rahe ho? Aap dono tho bilkul mere aur topper ki tarah…(he said a lot too much)
Kushi: Kya? Kaun Topper? (confused)
Yuvi felt a bit embarrassed. What was he to tell his Bhabhi now? Arnav saw the discomfort in his face.
Arnav: Kushi, thum apni 20 questions wala game ghar jaake bhi khel sakthi ho. Mujhe office bhi jana hein.
Kushi: Magar..
Arnav: Agar-mgar kuchi bhi nahi. Chalo hum chalthe hein.
Saying this Arnav, Kushi and Yuvraj walked towards the car, where they found Aarav already playing with his i-Pad.
Here, Suvreen reached the Guggal house while Sahas left for meeting her brother in a hotel where he had booked the rooms for them.
Suvreen had tears as she recalled all those times she had spent here in Delhi. She knocked on the door.
Mumma: (from inside) Haan aayi…toda rhukiye.
Mumma opened the door to find Suvreen standing there right in front of her. Puppa came there from the room and was shell shocked to find Suvreen there.
Mumma: Suvi beta…thum? (with tears of happiness in her eyes)
Suvi: Haan Mumma, mein. Aapki beti Suvreen Guggal.
She hugged her mother and her Puppa too joined them. This family reunion continued for some time. It was very emotional. Since the day she left for Mumbai she has never stepped back to Delhi. She only spoke to her parents on phone or though Skype video chat. It was not easy for her to be away from her family for so long, but she had to do it because of the wicked Destiny.
Here in Raizada Mansion too it was a very emotional reunion. Though, Arnav did not talk much to Yuvraj, but he was happy to have his brother back. Kushi just could not hold back her excitement. Now, she had a Devar who she could play around with. Anjali was happy that finally Yuvraj was back with them. Manaroma and Nani too were happy. They all were happy to see that Yuvraj was now much better than they had last seen him, before he left for Canada.
Arnav: Kushi, mein office jaa raha hoon. Aaj mujhe kissi ki interview leni hein. Aur Yuvraj, thum fresh up ho jana aur office aa jana. Thumhe mein thmara kaam samja dunga.
Kushi: Arnav ji yeh kya baath hui? Yuvraj tho abhi ghar aaya hein. Tkah gaya hoga. Usse aaram karna chahiye.
Anjali: Haan Chote, Kushi ji teekh keh rahi hein. Yuvi ko kam se kam ekh din tho aaram karne do?
Arnav: Di aap logon se maine pehle bhi kaha hein ki Yuvraj ke saath mein sirf ekh professional relationship rakhunga. Aur mein apne kisi bhi employees ke saath yahi karta hoon.
Nani: Chote, yeh kya baath hui? Aapan chote Bhai se koi aisan baath karath hein ka??
Arnav just ignores this statement.
Arnav: Maine kaha na. Agar Yuvraj ko mere saath kam karna hein tho use meri rules follow karni hogi. Bas, iske aage mujhe kuch nahi sunna.
Saying this he walks from there, leaving behind Kushi, Nani, Anjali and Manaroma angry.
Yuvi: Koi Baath nahi Nani. Bhai teekh hi tho keh rahe hein. Mein jithni jaldi office mein kaam sikhunga uthna acha hein. Waise aap sab log ithna serious kyun ho gaye?? After all Cheetha laut aya hein, Dhamal tho hona hi chaiye na? (with sparkle in his eyes) Kyun aarav?
Aarav: Yes Chachu. (gives a high fi to Yuvi) Waise Chachu aaj sham ko Papa ne…
Kushi cuts him mid sentenced.
Kushi: Yuvraj, thum takh gaye hoge jao jaldi se fresh up ho jana. Arav beta thum jao jaake khelo.
Yuvraj: Haan Bhabhi, magar Arav kuch keh raha tha.
Arav: Haan wo..
Anjali: Kuch nahi Yuvraj, Arav thumari Mumma bilkul teekh keh rahi hein. Yuvi takh gaya hoga.
Mami: Hello Hi Bye Bye, Arav Bituwa, you comes with me. Mein thumko cold cold ice-creame kihlaungi.
Mami takes Arav with her to the beauty parlor. Anjali, Nani and Kushi too excuse themselves from there before Yuvraj could ask them more and they would blurt out about the surprise party organized by Arnav for him.
Yuvraj: Zaroor, yeh log kuch na kuch tho chupa rahe hein. Mein Pata laga ke rahunga. Aakhir mein Cheetha jo hoon. (with a naughty grin)
AR Industries:
Suvreen rushed towards the entrance of AR. She was already late. Her first interview and that too with ASR was no small deal. She had to be at her best.
Suvreen: Hey Gannu ji, yeh kya? Pehla interview aur mein late? Suna hein ki ASR ekh dhum gusse wala hein. Bas Gannu ji uske Gusse se bacha lena mujhe.
She walks towards the reception, where she finds a stylish young lady sitting there, applying makeup covering her face behind a mirror.
Suvreen: Excuse me?
Rceptionist: Yes? (She removed the mirror off her face, Suvreen was left with an expression of shock and was horror struck)
It was Naro. Naro too was shocked. Ever since Suvreen had left for Mumbai, they had never met.
Suvreen: Naro?
Naro: Suvi?? Thum yaha? (with tears in her eyes)
Suvi: Haan Naro, wo aaj mera interview hein ASR ke saath.
Naro: Oh teekh hein. Waise….
Before Naro could complete her sentence, Akshay walked upto them.
Akshay: Suno Naro, Wo ladki jiska aaj Interview tha kya wo aa gayi?
And then he saw Suvreen.
Akshay: Wait. So you are Miss Guggal right?
Suvreen: Jee haan.
Akshay: Wo waise mein bata doon, thum zara late ho gayi ho.
Suvreen started getting scared. She did not know what was going on. First of all it was not easy for her to return to Delhi, then she had come across an emotional family reunion, then she had face Naro and now again she had face the wrath of ASR. How was she to handle all this? Tears welled up in her eyes. Naro saw this and she moved towards her.
Naro: Suvi kya hua? Thum ro kyu rahi ho?
Now, Akshay too was scared after seeing that sudden change in her. Naro made Suvreen sit in the couch nearby, while Akshay got some water for her.
Akshay: Yeh lo.(handing over a glass of water) Waise, thumhe ithna darne ki zaroorth nahi hein. ASR ithna bhi scary nahi hein.
Suvreen, looks at him puzzled.
Naro: Akshay thum jao. Mein Suvreen ko bejthi hoon
Akshay: Teekh hein. Zara jaldi bejna wo ASR wait kar rahe hein.
Akshay walks from there after giving Suvreen a calm smile.
Naro: Suvi, Mujhe pata hein ki thum ASR ke wajah se nahi dar rahi ho, balki thum Delhi se dar rahi ho..mein sahi keh rahi hoon na?
Suvi: Naro, wo mujhe pata nahi kyun bahuth dar lag raha hein.
Naro: Suvi, thumhe darne ki koi zaroorth nahi, aur dekho kithna acha hein na ki mein bhi yahi kaam kar rahi hoon. Destiny ne kaise do doston ko fir se milaya hein.
Suvi: (Little lost) Nahi Naro. Destiny jaisa kuch bhi nahi hein. Aur haan rahi baath iss kaam ki, kya pata mujhe yeh milega bhi ya nahi.
Naro: Dekh Suvi, ab ithna negative baath math karon. Suvi, bhool math ki jiss tarah thum hamesha apne haq ke liye ladi ho. Hamesha sach ke liye ladi ho. Aur aaj bhi mujhe pura barosa hein ki thumein yeh job zaroor milega.
Suvi: Haan Dekhthe hein.
Naro: Chalo Suvi, thum ab apne Interview attend kar lena. Hum baad mein baath karenge.
Suvi leaves from there towards Arnav's cabin. She was sweating. She did not know if it was the Delhi weather or was it the fear of meeting ASR. She slowly knocked on the Cabin glass door.
Arnav who was reading through a file was startled. He keeps the file aside and looks up. Akshay too who was standing beside Arnav looks at Suvreen.
Arnav: Yes come in. (Suvreen Walks in) Miss. Guggal right?
Suvreen: Yes sir.
Arnav: Well, make yourself comfortable. I have gone through your profile. Quite impressive I must admit. Thumne RC ke yaha intern kiya hein. After all ithne bade Fashion Designer ke under kaam karna koi choti baath nahi hein.
Akshay: Haan sir, sabki naseeb mein todi na likha hota hein.
Arnav never believed in anything called destiny and after the Heart break Fiasco neither did Suvreen. Arnav was about to say something, when Suvreen
Suvreen: Sorry sir, but I disagree. Naseeb koi liktha nahi hein, hum kudh apni Naseeb likthe hein.
Akshay was left baffled by Suvi's answer and Arnav was quite impressed. He gave a smirk.
Arnav: So Miss. Guggal, why AR industries?
Suvreen: Because it is the best and I know I deserve the best.
Arnav: Why do you think AR should appoint you? I mean as you said AR is the best so I can take anyone with a good experience in the field, you after all don't have any experience other than working as an intern under RC for six months.
Suvreen: Sir, I agree with your point, but then I also feel that unless you give me a chance I ll not be able to prove to you that I am the best.
Arnav: Okay, cool then done. You will be working for AR, but not permanently, just for a project. We have a new Fashion event coming up and you will be the senior Fashion Designer for the event. Your job depends on how successful you can make that event. Akshay, give a complete briefing about the NGFW to the lady and also complete the formalities.
Suvreen: Thank you sir.
Arnav: Well, since you are a part of AR now, you get to call me ASR and not sir. You may wait in the waiting area. Until all the formalities are done with.
Suvreen gets up to leave. Akshay too was about to leave when suddenly…
Arnav: Akshay, waise agar Yuvraj ayega tho usse mere cabin mein bejj dena.
Akshay: Teekh hein ASR.
Suvreen was shocked after what she had heard. She slowly walks towards the couch with Akshay.
Akshay: Thum yahi wait karo. Mein jaake Contract papers ready kartha hoon.
Suvreen gives a feeble smile to him and takes a seat in the couch, while Akshay walks towards his cabin.
Suvreen: Kya abhi ASR ne Yuvraj kaha? Haan suna tho wahi tha. Yuvraj, mathlab Yuvi? Nahi aisa kaise ho saktha hein? Yuvraj tho Canada gaya tha. Aur agar Yuvi AR mein kaam kar raha hotha tho abhi Naro mujhe zaroor bata dethi. Haan Suvi thum bhi na, kithni badi pagal ho, Duniya mein sirf ekh hi Yuvraj todi na hein.
While she was talking to herself, Arnav was staring at her from the cabin glass door. He had a smile adorned on his lips when he saw here chattering to herself.
Arnav: Kuch tho hein iss ladki mein…
Here, Akshay was returning with an envelope consisting Suvreen's contract paper and Pam (another stylish employee of AR) was coming from the other side with a bundle of the extra invitations of that night's party at RM organized for return of Yuvraj. They both collide. Akshay and Pam both bend down to pick up all that had scattered. They were lost in each other's eyes. Right then Yuvraj comes there to witness this.
Yuvraj: humph…humph (clears his throat)
Akshay and Pam startle. Pam by mistake while putting the contract papers inside the envelope along with it put an invitation too. And Akshay in the hurry left one invitation on the floor.
Pam: I am sorry Akshay sir.
Saying this she walks from there, returning Akshay the envelope and also carrying the bundle.
Akshay: Arey Yuvi thum yaha? Kaise ho? (and he hugs Yuvraj)
Yuvi: Mein badiya hoon yar. Waise thum tho bade maze me ho yar. (Naughty smile)
Akshay: Aisa kuch bhi nahi Yuvi. Waise ASR thumse milna chatha tha. Thum uski cabin mein jao, mujhe Kuch zaroori kaam hein mein wo complete kar deta hoon.
Yuvi: Chal teekh hein.
Akshay leave from there. Yuvraj's eyes fall on the invitation that was fallen on the ground. He picks it up and reads it.
Yuvraj: Acha? Mere lautne ki kushi mein Party?? Tho yeh baath hein. Aakir meine pata laga hi liya. Aakhir mein Cheetha jo hoon (with a smirk)
Here Akshay hands over the contract Papers to Suvreen.
Akshay: yeh lo Suvreen. Isme contract papers hein aur haan isme sara details bhi hein projest ke bare mein. Thumhe baki ka information kal mil jayega. Kal 10 baje teekh office aa jana.
Suvreen: Jee thanx.
Akshay leaves from there. Suvreen too leaves from there.
In the Guggal House Suvreen opens the envelope to find an invitation to the party along with the contract papers.
Suvi: Yeh kya? Aaj party hein? Haan Sahas ne tho kaha than a ki ASR ne Party rakhi hein. Lekin, Mujhe invite kyun kiya? Shayad AR ke sare employees ko invite kiya hoga. Mujhe jana padega, warna ASR kya sochega. Haan mein thaiyar ho jathi hoon.
Suvi begins preparing for the party in the evening. What will happen in the party? What is NGFW? Will Suvreen be able to manage this project? Will she prove herself? How will the Raizada's react to Suvreen's presence in the party? How will Naro and Suvreen's bonding be? Will they manage to be BFF even after so many years? What prank will Yuvraj play now after getting to know about the party? Wait for the next update..!!
