Aishwarya Rai may have a very beautiful face, but she can't beat Bipasha Basu in sex appeal.

Being sexy is not just about wearing skimpy outfits or giving 'I am wild' look to the camera. It is more about attitude and how one carries oneself in revealing clothes.


Sanjay Gadhvi's movie Dhoom 2 pits gorgeous Ash against sultry Bipasha in what is seen by many as the battle for looking sexier. Sorry to say that Ash comes nowhere near Bipasha in looking hot.

In her introductory scene in the film, Ash is shown completely dressed in black outfit (of a thief) and wearing a mask. A few minutes later, she takes off her dress in front of the hero ( Hrithik Roshan ) and stands in a tiny top and shorts.

The posture she strikes is supposed to be sexy, but is far from it. What you see is Ash standing with her arms slightly akimbo, her pelvis stiff and her bust ostentatiously protruding to the thief in front of her. Now, that is supposed to be "sex appeal" for you.

Bipasha, on the other hand, raises your hair (and perhaps more) in her very first scene when she is shooting at a target while dressed in a tight white T-shirt and jeans. The camera catches the angle of her bust from sideways, highlighting to the maximum Bipasha's anatomical assets.

That's not it. After every few reels, Bipasha is shown in one revealing outfit after another, making sure that the oomph quotient doesn't drip in the film. The temperature rises further in the second half, when Bipasha is shown as a Brazilian, mostly dressed in bikinis.

Ash, on the other hand, exudes nothing but fatigue. Ironically, she looks the most appealing in a blue, dinner dress that covers her completely from her neck to her knees. She is unable to carry herself naturally in other skimpy dresses like a black catsuit, a golden dress and a two-piece outfit in the final song.

In this battle of sex appeal, Bipasha is undoubtedly the winner.

i havent seen dhoom 2 so i cant comment on anybody overall... but in my opinion ash luks more stunning then bipasha.... and im not a big fan of ash or bipasha, but honestly i feel that ash luks better than bipasha in this one, and this is my opinion through the trailors i have seen... but the ppl who have seen this film know better, so do u agree wid this article, or no. plz do comment. 😊

i agree....saw some pics of bipasha.....in dhoom 2...she looks hot and beautiful too...

i dont want to be mean to any bips fan, but i do have to say that bips doz seem to luk masculine in the trailors as compared to ash.

AGREED....For one,she looked totally LOST in the movie......SHe looked confused and overawed...The liplock was passionate,but the passion mainly emanated from Aryan...That entire scene,where Aryan loads the revolver with one bullet and both start shooting taking turns,Ash looked LOST,CONFUSED,INTIMIDATED,SCARED and ICY cold......She didnt show any passion from her side,it was one of her worst performances...She looked so uncomfortable....

Clothes....She had ZILCH attitude,she just couldnt carry it off..It looked forced on her,she looks much much better in sarees and indian wear...The scene where she uncovers,she's in those shorts,short top and boots..she looked bad..The basketball scene was another one where she looked BAD in those short clothes...She looked good only in the DIl LAga NA song(albeit she wore a mini skirt,she looked good) and in the climax scene where Ash and Hrithik escape on the motorbike...She(or They) looked MARVELLOUS in that scene....Even in the last scene(at the pub,where she's wearing a white shirt and white skirt),it looked CRAPPY on her.....

Bipasha on the other hand didnt get the meaty role,but she oozed sex appeal and oomph..As SHonali,and as Monali,she looked great...She has the right attitude,which is THE sine qua non needed to carry off short clothes.....In the My name is Ali song,she looked wonderful....I was initially put off by the pictures and posters YRF had released before the movie,I though Bips looked ewww,but I was wrong...Ash has a photogenic face and thus looked good in the still photographs,but when it comes to real life and celluloid,Bips takes away the cake....Just goes to prove that simply short clothes and mini skirts alone dont make anyone look sexy,Its the attitude with one sports...No offense,but this was my brutally honest opinion...All this coming from a ardent Ash fan

Dhoom was one of Ash's worst performances,She was much much better in her movies which flopped..Ironically,Dhoom would be a blockbuster,albeit it has only ONE real star..Hrithik

Muscles don't equate to masculinity. I think Bips looked more sexier. Ash looked uncomfortable and not sexy at all... Hot yes but Bips took the sexy crown in this movie.

Both are hot but for me Bipasha is more

but what exactly is "bashing"..Please,I just critiqued how Ash looked,I didnt bash her character..Arent I allowed to even state why I didnt find her to be all that....

Anything and everything is called bashing,one cant even critique a movie,or talk about why somebody didnt look convincing...Try stopping all the film critics,If I pay my money to watch a movie,I will surely state what I didnt like..I dont think I nor anyone else crossed any limit....
