That is Tanveer- remember how she wanted to upset Imran's engagement- her point there was, if you will not accept me, I'll ruin your reputation!

What I mean is, she could have gone to his family, chosen a more private time...but she wanted to HUMILIATE him. It was clear to her that Imran was in NO WAY going to accept her- so she decided to BRING HIM DOWN!

I have been thinking about this ever since they showed her pregnant. But i guess Rule No. 1 of watching indian shows is to leave behind the logic

I think it's Tanveer's pride that comes in the way of having a kid without a husband. She has a massive ego, and will not have Razia or anyone insult her, commenting on her background and stuff.

There was this book I read about Afghanistan or Iraq or something (can't remember). This girl falls in love with her friend, but he has to go to war. They spend one night together and she gets pregnant. Now, they're Muslim and it'll be a bad thing for her pregnancy news to be spread over.. her parents get her married off to this old guy (who is well off at the moment). Anyway, she's about a couple of weeks into her pregnancy at this time and so pretends that the wedding night was the conception of the child. Of course, the baby is born couple of weeks earlier (from what other people think) but she just said it was a premature birth (or something like that).

I guess, if people don't know about dates then yeah they can be easily deceived. But it's Asad! I doubt Tanveer will be able to pull one over him! =|

i guess the book you talking about is A thousand Splendid sun, in that laila and tariq have a relation, and tariq and his family leave that city and laila' s family is also supposed to leave but a in a rocket attack laila's family dies, a broken laila is taken in by marriam n rasheed, and rasheed marries laila so that he can have a young beautiful wife, on the verge of being married that laila discover she is pregnant. so she only gives her consent of being married rather than be discovered a expectant unwed mother, but yeah she passed her daughter as rasheed, because tariq was also presumed dead, and she didnt wana lose his child .

The whole point is to establish that looks can be deceiving and in today's world specially one cannot judge the other simply by their appearance and even the way they talk, what they talk about. Their is a saying in Islam that if you truly want to know someone the travel with them.

Anyways connect this to Asad Ahmed's initial reaction to Zoya, how he passed a judgement on her simply by looking at her that she was devoid of the basic values, Tehzeeb. And by his definition Tanveer fits the Tameez Tehzeeb picture like a T.

For Tanveer to be pregnant shows her to be a woman of loose character who is posing to be someone very morally virtuous. In Islam there is simply no concept of pre marital sex.

From the CVs point of view I think this is what they are tryoing to establish. As far as having the baby before time, well calculations do go wrong by a couple of weeks and babies are born premature, but if it is a full term baby no doctor can be fooled in this regard.

And someone wrote belly bulging...not even in the next 100 episodes 😉
