Hearing Riya's harsh words, was enough to make Arjun extremely angry, but he somehow controlled his anger, and replied, "This ring was, is and will always be yours!" He came close to her, took her left hand, and without giving her much choice, put that ring back on her ring finger.

Riya immediately raised her right hand to remove that ring, when she felt Arjun catching her hand and pulling her in his arms.

"Don't you dare to remove that ring Riya! You wont like the consequences at all!" he said coldly.

"That's all you have to say? Not even a sorry? Just came here to put this ring on me, as if you own me!" Riya said furiously, "well let me tell you that you don't and will never own me!" She tried to wriggle out of his hold, but couldn't.

Arjun pulled her even more closer to him, he was almost crushing her body against his now, "You belonged to me then, now and forever! And look into my eyes when I'm talking with you!"

Riya finally raised her eyes to look at him, "I don't belong to you!"

"Don't tempt fate Riya, it wouldn't take me long to prove that you are only mine! Don't tempt my anger!" he said coldly, and released her suddenly. He put some distance between them, but he went to lean on the door, preventing any means of escape of her from this office.

"I know I must have hurt you a lot with my words, well not must, I'm sure I have hurt you a lot! But I'm sincerely sorry Riya, my love for you was always true. But I can hardly control myself when I'm angry! That day, I don't know why, but I reacted first as a brother, I had thought that Shaina was betraying him and more! I know I shouldn't have lashed at you, nor even insulted you. You have always given me so much love, so much care. You are the only one made for me! I cant live without you! You have no idea how hard this week without you had been!" Arjun said with love in his eyes.

But he could see that though Riya was believing him, she also still had the hurt look on her face. He stood straight from the door and strode towards her. He gently took her hands and made her sit on a chair, and knelt down on the ground.

"I know I hurt you a lot, but please forgive me! Please return back!" Arjun said and kissed her palms. He knew that it wouldn't be that difficult to convince Riya, he could easily kiss her into submission, even her eyes and body language was saying that. But he had to give her sometime, no matter how hard it was. He never doubted Riya's love for him, but he wanted to prove Riya that he also respected and trusted her. So despite knowing how difficult this was going to be for him, he said, "You asked for one month to decide what you wanted. I'll gladly give you that one month, well only three weeks remaining now. But I cant stay away from you, so I'll be staying in the beach house, and I will come to meet you everyday, and try to court you the old way now! I'll prove you that apart from love,I also trust and respect you as a person!"

He stood up and bent slightly towards her face. Riya had tears in her eyes, she didn't know what to do anymore. Her heart was telling her to forget everything and go in his arms, while her brain was telling her that she shouldn't forgive him so soon. She watched Arjun bending down, till his face was on the same level as hers. He came closer to her, and she couldn't prevent herself from closing her eyes awaiting his kiss. However he only pecked her on her forehead, and left the office.

Riya opened her eyes, when she heard the door being opened. She watched him going out. Her heart burst with love for him, because for once he had respected her decision. She was still looking at the open door, when she saw him look again in the room and said, "That doesn't mean that I'll let you alone for even one minute. I'll be your shadow for these three weeks, so prepare yourself Miss Riya" and winking at her went away.

Riya waited for some more minutes to get up and leave the office. She didn't know what Arjun was planning to do, but after one week she suddenly felt so happy and at peace.

While at the beach house

Sam had seen Arjun leaving the beach house early, and he knew that he and Shaina were alone now. He went in the kitchen to prepare for breakfast. All the while he was thinking about his changed feelings for Shaina. He didn't know why but he had a sudden urge to protect her from the world. He couldn't see anyone hurting her, though his anger, insults and indifference at start must have hurt her a lot. He only knew that kuch to hein, and he wanted to explore that kuch. He had almost finished breakfast, when Shaina came in the kitchen. She was wearing a simple top with jeans, and it seemed that she had just showered , because her hair was wet. She hadnt worn any make-up, yet she was enough to make Sameer forget to breathe.

Shaina entered the kitchen and saw Sameer staring at her, she felt a blush starting on her face, and she just stopped and stood immobile.

"Sam kya hein? Aap mujhe aise kyun dek rahe ho?" she asked shyly.

"Have anyone ever told you how beautiful you look in the morning. So fresh, so lovely, I don't seem to have words to describe what I'm feeling," Sam said completely under her spell.

Shaina blushed with each words, and didn't know what else to say except a simple "thank you"

She tried to look elsewhere, before she did something utterly unlike her and shock Sam, she saw that breakfast was already done.

"You prepared breakfast, but why? I would have done it!" Shaina said.

"It's ok, it was a pleasure because I wanted to do something for you," Sam said directly not mincing his words.

"And why?" Shaina asked back.

"Pata nahin, just felt like it," Sam replied a bit embarrassed, "let's not waste time, come and eat before everything gets cold. And after that we are going for some sightseeing!"
